SILVER DREAMS

What are dreams?
I've asked this question many times
over the years. I researched it using
dream dictionaries, dream encyclopedias,
and many specific books about dreams.
A few years ago, I figured that my
dreams are omens to the future. Especially
the kind of dreams that I've been having lately.
Then I had an ephipany.
I've often felt that dreams are the answers
to the questions we haven't yet figured
out how to ask.
However, my dreams used to be filled with
silver-colored clouds. My sister used
to be on a silver-colored cloud. I don't
know why I dreamed of Samantha there.
But now my dreams are different. They
aren't silver dreams. They are multicolored
dreams of *her*.
I was dreaming about a certain FBI Agent:
Dana Scully. I know we're in our early stages of
partnership, but she took my heart when
I first saw her. With her flame-red hair and
her azure eyes... God, she's so sexy
However, my sleep was disturbed by
government agents knocking on my door. I just
wanted to return to dreams of Scully but those
people brought her into my room.
You don't know how much I wanted to take her into
my arms and be with her. However, I needed to
control myself. I didn't want us to go somewhere
in our relationship when neither of us was ready.
As I gazed into her beautiful azure eyes, I decided
to wait until I knew she wanted me. I didn't care how
long it took. I would have to wait...because I knew
we were meant to be.
End of Vignette

Author's Notes:
I would like to thank Jen for beta reading this
story for me. She has been very supportive
of my work.
I had the title already picked out a long time ago.
It wasn't until I decided to write for the After the
Fact's post episode challenge that I decided to
write this story.
