The cast of NBC's Family Ties all gathered for the first time in 18
years on Thursday on NBC's Today show to help promote a new memoir,
titled "Sit, Ubu, Sit," by the creator of the iconic 1980's
television sitcom, Gary David Goldberg. Joining Gary David Goldberg
were Michael J. Fox, Michael Gross, Meredith Baxter, Justine Batemen
and Tina Yothers. "Had it not been for this book, we would not have
had this reunion. This is the first time in about 18 years that we
have all been on the same piece of real estate at the same time,"
said Michael Gross. You can read more about this reunion that took
place this morning, and watch the entire video of it by clicking below.

Hi Vera! I do believe i've read somewhere that these dvd's exist in region 4 (Australia and New Zealand) but right now i've only found region 1 at amazon. in Portugal, it's not for sale anywhere. never the less, the folowing review can be read at the amazon page, under the second season reviews:

An excellent series from an excellent show. You know whether you want this or not, but if you're a fan this series has some classic episodes. Unlike series 1, this set has several extras (a making-of, a Michael J Fox interview, and a special on Michael Gross growing a beard (yes indeed)).

you cant try and write to that gentleman, asking where he bought it.
best regards
João

Hi all! I have both 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD and though they are both
worth it I must say the first season is a disappointment. No extras,
different music, mediocre print quality. I still enjoyed my favorite
show though! The second season is much better. Fun extras, a good
commentary from Michael J Fox and in my opinion, a better print
transfer- I do think the music was changed on this season, too,
though... I can't wait for the 3rd season! I'll be at the store first
thing in the morning to get my copy!

Oh, and to the person who wanted to see the episode where Alex looses a
friend and goes to therapy, I believe that is in the 5th or 6th
season... It was the first season featuring Courtney Cox...

Have a great day!

(by Billy Vera and the Beaters)

What did you think I would do at this moment
When you're standing before me

With tears in your eyes
Trying to tell me that you
Have found you another
You just don't love me no more

What did you think I would say at this moment
When I'm faced with the knowledge
That you just don't love me
Did you think I would curse you
Or say things to hurt you
`Cause you just don't love me no more

Did you think I could hate you
Or raise my hands to you
Now come on, you know me too well
How could I hurt you
When darlin I love you
And you know I'd never hurt you
Oh...

What do you think I would give at this moment
Ff you stay I'd subtract twenty years from my life
I'd fall down on my knees
Kiss the ground that you walk on
If I could just hold you again

I'd fall down on my knees
Kiss the ground that you walk on, baby
If I could just hold you
If I could just hold you.....
Again.

I have the season one DVDs and with a couple of exceptions I'm very
happy with it. Transfer quality is good but they did change some
music because they didn't want to buy the licenses (which is rumored
to be the reason it took so long to get FT to DVD) and there are NO
extras. I just pre-ordered season 2 and was pleased to see there will
be some extras (cast interviews etc...) with that season. I have the
entire series recorded on DVD from reruns on cable and it is ok but of
course the quality of the commercially produced set is superior. I
can't wait for the rest of the series to be released!

I am 34 years old and almost 35 years old. And I still watch Family
Ties, and I think it is a great sitcoms now, it like watching a new
sitcom, but it way better than television today. It is so
entertaining to watch Family Ties. And yes, I did watch Family Ties
during it's first run. I am the same age of the girl who portrays
