You are referring to the show about the Keaton family right? Because that was NOT a soap opera. It was a SITUATION COMEDY. Do you know what 'situation comedy' means? It means it was funny, and soaps are the farthest things from funny. And, I only know of one place where you can get Family Ties (the SITCOM) on DVD.
