Another Supe in Smallville
Lois and Clark's Cain may appear.

August 4, 2005 - Could another Man of Steel be headed for Smallville?


According to a report on the TV Guide website, there's a "75 percent
chance" that Lois and Clark star Dean Cain will show up during the
forthcoming fifth season of the hit WB series.

The mag scoops that Cain would portray a love interest for Lois Lane.

Cain's run would follow appearances by late Superman thesp
Christopher Reeve as a key background character in the series. Next
thing ya know they'll be CG'ing in George Reeves.

Other guest stars announced by the WB for the forthcoming season
include former Buffy star James Marsters and original Dukes of
Hazzard actor Tom Wopat. (Spoiler warning: If you don't want to know
who they're playing, click away now.) Marsters will play the
Smallville-ized version of super-villain Brainiac and Wopat would
portray an old friend of the Kent family.

Smallville returns to The WB on September 29 at 8 PM ET/PT.
