In the future, the human race is living in space stations orbiting a
dead Earth. Faced with a debilitating disease attacking her young
son, Devon Adair and a band of non-conformists leave their artificial
environment and travel to a distant planet, where they begin a new
life for themselves.

This is the third of three rumor posts at TVShowsOnDVD today.
Industry sources have given us the heads-up on a few titles soon to
be announced by their respective studios (some sooner than others).

This is one a LOT of you have been waiting to hear, though! Rumors
have reached our ears: Earth 2 is planned for DVD, most likely for
later this year sometime. Timeframes are tentative, and there is
nothing else to say right now. Stay tuned, and we'll have more for
you as this story develops!

Like V...........? sort of...... Hi, I just
joined the club. I really liked the show Earth 2, and
was so mad when it ended (without and ending)....
Almost every series that I really like gets the axe. You
had mentioned V.. boy did it end with questions...
Another show that I liked was AMERICAN GOTHIC. It was
sort of a horror show. It also vanished from the
airwaves without so much as giving us warning. I was lucky
that I got all of Earth 2 on tape, and I have V (the
miniseries, and The regular series) on tape. Now I am waiting
for AMERICAN GOTHIC to come out on video. I thought
Earth 2 was well acted, and had so many stories left to
tell. A whole new planet of things to learn. It could
have went on for years. What a shame the folks in
charge don't know what they're doing. That is all for

like V a five parter and then have movies every few months

Geez that would be a GREAT movie.  There's so much info that we know, though,
that would have to be cut to make it fit in 2 hours.  How about a mini series!! 
Dream dream dream.........

What would you think of a movie that wasn't quite
a continuation, but started from the beginning,
same characters that just finally had an end? Maybe a
made-for-tv film... it'll never happen, but one can dream.

Well they, being producers at Universal, would at
this point only be doing it for us. If it was a movie,
the rest of the population wouldn't know what has
happened previously, they will never bring the show back,
so maybe the writers will bless us with a book. In
our dreams!!
