There had to be one or more shuttles on each ship to get the advance team
and following colonists to the surface of the planet.
Devon's son (and other Syndrome children) were the main passengers on these
flights. She would have made preparations for safe landings.


My brothers and I used to joke they all strapped on parachutes and Alonzo
and Danziger just chucked them out a hatch with a hearty "Good luck! Watch
that landing!"
