Given that the Advance ship was used to push the Colonist ship up to
inter-stellar (near light) speed, and the Advance ship was later
destroyed in the G889 atmosphere... there would seem to be nothing to
slow the Colonist ship down for a planet orbit. If Devon and crew had
gotten to their Pacifica location to receive the colonists, they could
only wave at the colonists as they flew by (at near the speed of
light), because the Advance ship was no longer available to be used to
slow the Colonists ship down (as it was used to speed it up).

Or am I wrong?
