Of course. Just leading such uneventful lives as are proper to small

For those of you who use facebook, there are several d2b groups out
there, but I recommend this one http://facebook.com/group.php?

Personally I prefer facebook to myspace and it's horrible wallpapers,
music blasting at you and pictures of people's cats - it's like going
back to the internet circa 1996. Having said that, there is also a
group for myspace people at http://groups.myspace.com/daretobelieve

About the Author
Tim Scott is 43. He graduated from Cambridge University, England, and
decided to use his hard fought education to work a plasterer,
decorator and delivery driver.
He writing career began with a training video which warned office
staff that falling over could be dangerous. He then went on to write
and appear on BBC Radio 4 in around fifty comedy half hours—and
finally ended up being given his own late night comedy television
series on network ITV. It ran for twenty six episodes and was so
surreal that even Ionesco or Salvador Dali would have been shaking
their heads in confusion.
He has written a large number of children's books, and also for
children's television. He more recently became a television director
and in 2003 won a BAFTA for co writing and directing a children's
series, "Ripley and Scuff," for the BBC. He likes to travel around
the world, often in search of surf.

I can confirm it and I will. That's what he said. It had a dollar
price on it, does anybody know if it is available in the UK. I think
we should all go out and buy it then Tim Scott can treat himself to
an afternoon in Sainsburys.

quirky stuff.

Looks like it is. Michael Marshall Smith (who was in series 1) has a
quote on the front.
Some time ago, Tim Scott said he had a novel waiting to be published
if I remember. He also said it might appeal to DTB watchers (can Jim
confirm this or am I making it up?!)

Dare to Believe badges! They're ace! I'll have some! I'm about to send
you an exciting parcel too, look out for that.
It's been a good month for exciting packages (as the actress said etc).
Tim Scott recently sent me a Dare to Believe t-shirt that didn't fit
him because it's made for tiny fairy people. Look at me!

Well the only thing I can suggest to you is that you try and promote
dare to believe in a big way, like I did, e-mail everyone you know,
texted everyone off your phone, ask everyone you know on myspace,
promote dare to believe on your myspace profile, ask everyone in your
family, ask people where you work, if you can get them to sign the
petition I started it may increase the overall figures on the online
petition.
I did that for a month and over 200 hundred people signed the
petition, it may take alot of work on your part, but I'd be happy to
help with finding some more people, and according to James grime when
dare to believe was at its most popular stage, half a million people
watched dare to believe, so there has to be more people out there who
are willing to sign the petition.
I would suggest that everyone who is reading this and loves dare to
believe should do the same ask everyone you can to sign the petition,
and maybe if we work on it together for a longer period say 6 months
we will get enough people to sign the petition.
At the point I will write a well structured letter and send it off to
the childrens company if you like.
Maybe the original petition didn't work maybe not, we haven't actually
had a official response from ITV, who knows ITV maybe be trying to fit
dare to believe into their scheduling, but in the meantime we can show
ITV and the childrens company how popular the show actually is by
promoting the show and finding the fans.
Its worth a try

Hey
This is Just a quick message to Steve Hewitt, just wondering if you
had heard anything from the good people at ITV as its been over a
month now since I sent you the petition results, and I think the dare
to believe fans deserve an answer whether good or bad.
Thanks
Ric
p.s – punky blue fish are you still on the official dtb forum
Not sure how useful it'll be but I suggest emailing dutyoffice@... or
you can even call them on 0870 600 6766 or fax them on 0121 634 4898. If
they can't help you they may (probably not though) give you details of someone
who can.
Your local ITV broadcaster can be found on http://www.itvregions.com/ if
you want to annoy them too :)
Scott.

And if you're a fan of radio comedy, Broken News is from the people who
made The Sunday Format. If you get the chance to listen to The Sunday
Format, do so. The idea is the same as Broken News but with Sunday
newspapers, and I think the editing works better.

I've seen a couple of episodes of Broken News and you're right it is
really funny:
"I'm here at the northern most tip of Norway. If you go far enough
that way you'll reach Russia. If you go far enough the other way
you'll end up back here ... That's the kind of place this is."
Brilliant!
