Well, do you want to write something about the show then? what it's
all about and all that, and we'll both (well all, if anyone else is
listening!) try and come up with a few questions for Tim. I can try
and get in contact with him if you like, I've managed it once before.
I don't have screen capture stuff, sadly.. we need a DVD then I
could do it!
I've noticed the code for the group thing, all that stuff will be
explained in the 'community' section
Right then, we should get to work on thinking of stuff. If you could
help me, I'd be much obliged.

Great, dtb need a fan site, but it has to have stuff you can't find
at daretobelieve.co.uk
How about a Tim Scott Biography and interview. Can we contact Tim?
A list of characters with descriptions, does anyone have screen
capture gubbins?
Reviewing each episode might be a little unnecessary, a review of
the show is enough - unless you really want to do it.
To promote the group go Yahoo! Groups, there's a promote link on the
left which gives you the code for the sign up button.

...make a website for our group.. a sort of first unofficial fanpage
of the show that can promote this group too. anyone think of any
content? maybe people can write reviews of each show and biogs of
characters and I'll do the design/layout etc? the content's gotta be
different from the website.. which is a bit of a shame cos i'd like
to redesign all that to be honest! anyway, up for it?
I think that after friday's episode (or maybe before it) we should
leave a message (or one of us should.. ok enough of the brackets
now) about this group as to get people on board the member ship.
We shalkl sail on, searching vainly for whatever we're looking for.
we'll never know, so we'll never find it. dare to believe - the
member ship
To combat the nasty shouty UPPERCASE type people who come on the
message board I've made a plan. I'm going to dig a big hole in the
middle of the internet then cover it with straw. When they fall in
I'll batter them with a sausage.
Bwaaa-ha-ha-ha.
What are we doing tomorrow night Brain?

I'm cool on the otter costume so far. Generally people dressed up in
mascot type costumes annoy me (Can't stand Trigger Happy TV) but it
also shows how small the budget is - the costume isn't very good.
But like all sketch shows you don't have to like everything.

Do you mean "7 Sep" instead of "Sep 7". No way I'm afraid.
The phrase 9-11 is confusing in the same way, I have to remind
myself it happened in September not November.

That was me. I will definitely post on Friday before the show, I
think we need a group even more now to get away from the arguments
on the board. However I don't want to look pushy or self-important.
I'm so stoked.

I've just noticed someone, can't remember who, wasn't paying any
sort of attention (it's too early!) has posted a message about the
group on the board..Good stuff! however, i think it needs to be done
every few days or so cos the board is packed full of messages. older
messages get lost in there now so if you're a fan, have gone to the
site, you're not likely to look past the 1st 50 messages as it's too
much hard work!

That bit is cut and pasted from the description that used to be on
the dtb site. It's an odd comment, I could cut it.

I agree.
When I was watching it I was thinking 'it's not as good as usual'
but I think the main thing that's letting it down is the 'what's
this' bit as they're not saying random things that it isn't!
Did you see the way I guessed it'd be a reflector in the bicycle box
this week on the messageboard?! Maybe I should get in contact with
tim scott and give him some help...! :P
The office guy last night was the funniest one of all the office
guys there'd ever been.. what was that basket doing under his
desk?!!!? Maybe he keeps stuff in it, we may never know. I think he
does as he didn't knock it onto the floor as to signify there was
something in there. Maybe something fragile... Who knows?!
Anyway, that's it.

The chat thing's a good idea but I can never be bothered to stay up
that late on a friday night as I'm usually either too pissed or
stoned to stay awake!
I tape the show and watch it in the mornings to take the sting out
of my hang/mongover y'see...
I'll let my friends know about the group once I've got them roped
into watching it!
We'll have to build up more members as time goes by. I could post
another message on the forum plugging the group but I might look too
pushy.
If you could plug it though that would be sweet.
Also a couple of us used the chat function after the show. I think
we'll make that a regular thing, 2am Friday nights is chat night.
Stay Stoked.

expectations!
I'm less keen on "what's this" and recognising things but it's all
fun.

I probably dislike Bo Selecta as much as those who dislike dtb but I
just turn it off. I do wonder what people see in it though and hope
it's axed. So in some ways I'm no better.

Probably, with different people, maybe not as bad as last night!
jim
Have any of you ever gone onto a website or messageboard of a
programme you hated? I haven't.
I think it's a bit weird that people are doing so, don't you?
Still, at least this week we have appear to have Two (2) people who
are putting their points across without making the # machine go into
overdrive.... at least that's a start.
Also, do you reckon it's gonna be like this every week?

Hookers... that's an idea.. hmmm... i dunno.. decisions eh?
ITV were quite good about it last week, it ended up being shown
about 2 minutes late but that's far better than 2 minutes early and
missing some.. I recorded it on LP though and took it a mates house
one night but they only had an SP video! it was so annoying cos
everyone wanted to know what I'd been going on about for ages!
Anyone else gonna join this group or is it just gonna be us rambling
on for eternity on our own?

As will I, though I'm not sure I trust setting the timer. At that
time of night I don't think ITV care about the exact time.

And it appears that I'm the second person to join...
What's the setup here, are we posting new messages at the bottom of
the last post or are we putting them at the top? I've gone for the
bottom for this one as it's more of a newsgroup than a messageboard
isn't it?
I suppose that it doesn't really matter anyway... just me being a
bit techincal and boring...
It's friday today and that means that we have another dose of DTB in
the early hours... I for one will be setting my video recorder in
order to watch it time and time again.
I've just sold a phone for £134... I wonder what I'm going to spend
the money on...!? I think I may buy something to enhance my
enjoyment of the programme.. it's green and smally and you wrap
paper round it. have a guess? Yes, it's an unwashed martian wrapped
in paper!
Right, I'm rambling a bit too much...
Mong on...
