i actually looked up in the internet with the model no given, it said its a region free..hope it works out.
gr8 ur an indian,,nice chattin with one..i have a bunch of frnds spread all over us,,and some relatives... was in caribbean islands for some time there. couldn't make it to the usa though..

Does anybody know if B.E.T. will finally show this episode the 2nd time
around instead of having the ''Love on The Run'' shown in it's
place.Too bad Danny Cooksey didn't have the opportunity to have his own
series after Diff'rent Strokes ended it.s network run since he was
never given the chance to really show off his music talent and
therefore a under rated child actor as i look back today since he and
Gary Coleman where great working together.Se for yourself this Sunday
July 13th from 1 to 6pm with a season 7 marathon.

Biography: Dana Plato. Chronicles the tragic life of the Diff'rent
Strokes star who died of a drug overdose at 35. Born to an unwed,
teenage mother, Plato was put up for adoption. She appeared in her
first TV ad when she was just 7, and at age 14 she was hired for
Diff'rent Strokes. Six years later she was forced to leave the show
when she became pregnant. Plato then languished in the world of
B-movies and even soft core pornography, all the while struggling
with an addiction to prescription drugs and alcohol. Plato's rise and
fall continues to have a haunting effect on the culture of child
celebrity in Hollywood. CC HD [TVPG]

Silver Spoons DVD Canned?; Plus Extras for Titus S3 DVD!

Today we have all TV DVD news to report. Good news and bad news, though. Let's start with the bad news, to get that out of the way. Judith A. Moose, who is the author of the book on the '80s series Silver Spoons and is friends with Erin Gray and Joel Higgins, has informed us of bad news regarding the DVD release of Silver Spoons. The show was penciled in for November many months ago, but of course that isn't happening.

Here it is in her own words:
"It is with great sadness that I have to report that Sony has pulled the plug on the upcoming release of Silver Spoons. I have been told that the show is being put on hold because of the poor sales numbers of the Punky Brewster and Diff'rent Strokes sets. Sony has opted that The Facts of Life will come out before Silver Spoons does and for the moment there are no immediate plans to release either series. The news came from the head of the legal department for copyrights at Sony. I'll keep trying folks but at the moment it appears to be a losing battle."

You can view that statement and post questions to Judith or comment on this here. While this is not good news at all, let's hope Sony reconsiders and we get this series very soon. I think we might see Diff'rent Strokes Season 2 soon, despite what has said to be "poor sales." Let's hope Sony listens to us and gives us DVD debuts for shows like Facts of Life, Silver Spoons and One Day at a Time.

Now for some actual good news. We are the first ones reporting this piece. It is what the special features are on season three of Titus. You can view it all here! It looks to be a good set for the final season of this series.

I read on sitcomsonline.com
that the first two seasons didn't sell so good so now it is up in the air is to when or if
it will be out kinda like gimee a break season 2 out not in the US but out in canada next year ...I agree start a petition asap we need season 3 and so on it is stupid of them to
stop releasing b/c of poor sales ....
