**** CHRIS PENNOCK PARTICIPATES IN MEDITATION RETREAT
Chris (Jeb Hawkes, Sebastian Shaw, Cyrus Longworth/John Yaeger,
Gabriel) tells SG he is involved in a "Warriorship and the Nature of
Mind" 2-day meditation retreat at the Om Sweet Aum Yoga Studio in
Idyllwild, CA, on Dec.15/16. The event features teachings and
discussions with Naljorpa Chhi'med Kunzang.

**** JAMISON SELBY - NEW GAME SHOW SPECIAL
Jamison (David Selby's son, "Return to Collinwood"
writer/director, "Vengeance at Collinwood" writer) is the head
writer and senior producer of "Duel," an ABC game show special to air
for 1 hour per night for 6 episodes, running Dec. 17-22.
This is a special, not an ongoing TV series. However, if the
ratings and response are good, the network may return it as a special
or pick it up as a regular series.
ABC is showing ads and promos for the special. Please check your
local listings and share with SG any publicity, reviews, or articles

**** SHADOWGRAM PREMIERE ANNOUNCEMENT: SPECIAL MPI BROCHURE MAILING
WITH DS DVD & MERCHANDISE SALE PLUS CONTEST
--- As SG Update # 178 (Nov. 12) announced, MPI releases the final
DVD set of original episodes this month, leading up to Barnabas'
first appearance. Publicity: With this release, "every original
episode of DS is now available on DVD! Enjoy the complete series,
starting with 'The Beginning DVD Collections 1-6' and continuing
through regular DVD Collections 1-26."

The regular DVD sets are available from MPI or through retail
outlets. The pre-Barnabas Collections presently are available as

SG #112 will include the latest confirmed detailed plans for the
2008 Fest in Burbank and information about the new DS film with
Johnny Depp. There is extensive news directly from and about the DS
cast/crew and their many projects, roles, and activities, including
Ben Cross (1991 DS Barnabas) playing young Spock's father "Sarek" in
the new "Star Trek" #11 movie. David Selby (Quentin) has a new book
out and was a featured actor in the HBO series "Tell Me You Love Me"
and a recent "Cold Case" episode. SG #112 also spotlights the 2007
DS Festival with many photos and details. This exciting event for DS
guests and fans was notable for marking the return of Jonathan Frid
