"I listed, for my own amusement, a few things about Nigel," Valentine said recently during a break from filming the show. "He's a forensic scientist, a doctor, a biker, an ex-soldier, a part-time fashion designer; he might be bisexual, and he believes in vampires.

"I really like him. He makes me seem educated. My mum's happy. She always wanted me to be a doctor.
