Greetings all,

well it's a while since the last DACU update and while we, as usual,
are having problems with our web host (currently can't add anything
new to the site and are looking for an alternative and more reliable
host), Donna's going from strength to strength.

In an online poll to coincide with Mothers' Day, internet magazine
Lycos XY asked its readers to vote for their favourite 'yummy
mummy'. Donna ranked sixth in the poll, beating global superstar
Gwen Stefani into seventh place. Curiously, Anna Friel actually came
top, proving that not-quite-A-list Brit celebs who've been out of
the limelight for a few years still have a following. Not that we're
arguing - Anna Friel is definitely high on our lists too.

As for Donna, it's soon to be a case of The Mummy Returns (check out
the Donna-related pun) as she's soon to hit the big screen in Bad
Day, on the trail of revenge-seeking renegade cop Claire Goose. Take
a look at the news page on the site for an exclusive screen test
shot of Donna, and we'll send out the latest details as they come in.

Although every time we fix one problem another one appears, we at
DACU are of course committed to keeping you all in the picture -
following the Lycos XY poll, hits to the site increased by half
overnight, proving we're still the first port of call for many
Donnabes. This fact hasn't escaped us, and we'll be looking to
improve the service asap.

The good news is, as traffic does increase (and as Donna returns to
the media) there's a good chance that advertising revenue will go
up, meaning we have more to spend on a more reliable service -
remember, we don't make a profit from the site, so any incoming
funds are used to improve things for you all.

This is all getting a bit wordy, so I'll draw things to a close -
just wanted to let you all know we're still here, and will be for
the foreseeable future.
