It's not often there's enough news to deserve a newsletter, but this
time we think there is, so...
1) Donna's latest projects
2) DACU Updates
3) You Don't Know Jack
4) Virus Warning

1) Donna's Latest Projects
Not a great deal to tell really - in fact, we may have told you
before. Donna's working mainly on E4, the digital channel from
Channel 4, with her dating show 'Five Go Dating' and 'Donna In Need',
where she gets whatever she can for free, just for being Donna Air.
Both are only available on digital TV, but Banzai made the move to
terrestrial Channel 4 earlier this year, so you can expect to see
Five Go Dating and/or Donna In Need somewhere in the listings
(probably late-night) in the not-so-distant future.

2) DACU Updates
Just to repeat the latest Discussion Forum message really - the
updates to celebrate our 50,000th hit are still going on, though most
of the work is behind the scenes. The GQ photoshoot will be available
in our next update, along with info on Donna's latest E4 projects.
You Don't Know Jack will be in the Donnabes section shortly after
that, but it might take a little longer to finish that off, so don't
check too soon, we'll keep you updated (for more info on YDKJ, see
below). And we're working on an offline version of the site, to be
distributed on CD - email offline@... if you want to be
part of the beta test run, to get the CD at a discount price, or if
you just want more info.

3) You Don't Know Jack
You Don't Know Jack is described as 'the show where high culture and
pop culture collide', and we hope the DACU version will live up to
that description. Through five questions chosen at random from a
generous selection, and culminating in the 'Gibberish' round where
you have to rhyme with a famous Donna saying or fact, YDKJ is a
rollercoaster ride of surrealism and pop trivia, centred around your
favourite Geordie, Donna Air. As always, we'll let you know as soon
as YDKJ is available.

4) Virus Warning
And finally, a piece of friendly advice - if you get a file
called 'snowball2.jpg', don't open it. It's a virus. Not a
particularly nasty one, in fact we were quite amused by it here at
DACU, but it's inconvenient nonetheless. So steer clear of it, k? As
always with files received over the Internet, it's best to make sure
you know it's safe before opening or installing the file. DACU
promise to check all files thoroughly before making anything
available for download, to be sure viruses are never transferred
through our site.

That's your lot for now. We'll let you know as soon as the next
update takes place. Until then, feel free to use the chat room,
discussion forum or mailing list to contact other DACU users and
Donnabes, or email contact@... with your queries and
comments. Thanks for your continuing support.
Bignight.
