This group is dedicated to one of the most underrated spy noir series of all time -- CALLAN. Actor extraordinaire, EDWARD WOODWARD (best known for his performances in Breaker Morant, The Wicker Man, and of course, The Equaliser) portrayed DAVID CALLAN, a hard-bitten man, pressed into service as a government assassin.

More along the lines of John le Carre` or Len Deighton than of James Bond or The Man from U.N.C.L.E., CALLAN was a more sombre, realistic look at the world of espionage.

Very few episodes from this marvellously gritty series still exist, and part of the goal is to see that more people find out about the show and hopefully manage to get the remainder of the surviving episodes released to DVD.
