Hello, DS Freaks!

If you are as upset as I am about the festivals ending, please take a
moment here.

I am starting a new Yahoo group to work on getting a new group of
people to continue the festival tradition! Some stars of Dark
Shadows evidently still want to have the annual festivals, but the
people who have been running it for the last 21 years have done a
fabulous job and deserve a break.

I want to make it clear that we are NOT doing a hostile take-over,
but want to accept the torch from the people who have done such an
excellent job, but want to be sure that we can have a good
relationship and see if they will please turn it over, and see if
they are willing to help us with info/contacts, etc.

If you have been to a festival, would like to go to a festival, have
been involved in a festival, or just want to see the festivals
continued, PLEASE join this group:

also looking for contacts, ideas...no such thing as a bad idea, and
for you to pass this on to anyone who might be interested joining.
If we all help a little, we can do a lot! We do NOT want to lose the
Dark Shadows Festivals forever, so please take a moment to join us!

I have also just completed my 3rd Dark Shadows Desktop theme,
BARNABAS!! I also have DS (general theme) and Quentin's theme (hee
hee). These are all self-installing and fully customizable for ALL

If you will be attending the Dark Shadows Festival 2003 in New York,
PLEASE JOIN NOW!! We will need your feedback, and would appreciate
any and all help in talking to the stars and people running/attending
the meetings. THEIR feedback and interest is very important, too!

We are going to make a petition to take to the New York Festival and
need as many signatures as possible, so please join if for no other
reason than to sign the petition! Cousin Barnabas needs YOU!

All it takes to fail is for good people to do nothing.
