Well, here it is boys and girls (are there are any boys? Whatever), the sequel
to the fanfic I sent out on a whim the other day - I love a good whim. But I
still need a title - help me!!

***********
"What's the address? 240 Bell St?" Dana switched her phone to her other hand,
grabbing Jadzia by the back of her shirt with her free hand. "Jadzia, you're not
going anywhere. Mom, what was it again? 240 Bell St? Where's that?" Jadzia made
another break for freedom. "Jadzia! Look, mom, don't worry. I'll find it. OK.
Bye." As soon as she pressed 'END' Jadzia wriggled from her grasp.
"Jadzia Emily Mulder, get back here now!"
Jadzia halted when she heard her mother's voice. She turned around slowly.
"Jazzy, you know the rules. You don't run off."
"Sorry, mommy," she apologized meekly.
"Come on. In the car."

"Mommy? Are you lost?"
Yes, Dana was lost. And she knew she was in trouble if her three-year old
daughter could pick it up.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because we've been down this street three times."
"I'm not lost," Dana replied. "I've just had a minor directional setback."
"What does that mean?"
"It means that I'm lost,' Dana admitted with a sigh. Randomly, she flicked on
her left blinker, and turned down a street labeled 'Swanston St', figuring she
probably couldn't get more lost than she already was. As she scanned the
surrounding area, something clicked. "I know this area," she murmured. "I
think."
It was confirmed when she saw a sign for Spencer St. That was when she realized.
This was where it had all ended.

**
"You ready to go?" Mulder asked, his hand on her shoulder.
Dana tilted her head back and smiled. "Yeah. I'll just be a second." She quickly
shut down her computer and stood up.
"We better go get Jazz from daycare," he acknowledged. "She gets narky if we're
late."
She rolled her eyes. "Don't I know it."
Together they headed downstairs to pick up Jadzia. When they got there, Lia, the
woman who ran the daycare, smiled and said, "Jadzia's still asleep."
Dana frowned. "Still? She should be awake by now."
"Maybe she's sick," Mulder suggested, concern furrowing his brow.
"Maybe," Dana agreed. She headed over to where Jadzia was sleeping. She rested a
hand on her forehead and looked up at Mulder. "She doesn't seem to have a
temperature."
Mulder opened his mouth to respond, but his ringing cell phone cut him off.
Hurriedly, he answered it, not wanting to disturb Jadzia.
Too late. Her aqua eyes opened, and she rubbed them sleepily with the back of
her hand. "Hi, mommy."
"Hey," Dana said, smiling. "Ready to go home?"
Her daughter nodded, and she sat up. She grasped her mother's hand and headed
over to her father, just as he was hanging up. He grinned at his daughter and
picked her up. "Hey, Jazzy-bear."
Jadzia curled her arms around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder. Over
Jadzia's shoulder, Mulder's eyes met Dana's.
"Something's wrong," she stated.
Mulder nodded and shifted Jadzia slightly. "Yeah. That was Skinner. Hostage
situation. He wants me to get down there right away."
"Where?"
"The hostages are in a church. Skinner and everyone are set up in a library
across the road. He said that back access is on Swanston St."
"Why does he want you there?"
Mulder shrugged. "He wouldn't say. All he said was that I better get down there
right away."

**
Dana jumped as a Jeep behind her blared it's horn. "Yeah, yeah," she muttered as
she accelerated. The Jeep beeped once more as it overtook her. She resisted the
urge to beep back.
"Sorry, Jeep Guy," she murmured sarcastically. "Because I care that you're gonna
be late."

**
Mulder struggled to hold open the back door to the Barker St Library and hold
Jadzia at the same time. He managed, and the three of them stepped inside.
Skinner, hearing their entrance, approached them. "Mulder. Scully," he greeted
them. A smile crossed his face. "Hi, Jadzia."
Dana poked her daughter. "Say hi, Jazzy."
"Hi."
Skinner smiled again, then looked at Mulder. "I guess I should tell you the
situation . . ." he acknowledged. He trailed off, obviously wary of saying
anything in Jadzia's presence. Dana took the hint and took Jadzia from Mulder's
arms. "C'mon, Jazzy, let's go look around."
Several minutes later, Mulder caught up with Dana and Jadzia. Jadzia was turning
the pages in a Dr. Seuss book with great concentration. Mulder grabbed Dana's
arm and pulled her away.
"He wants me to go in."
"Why?"
"Apparently, once again, my reputation precedes me," Mulder said, a half-smile
on his face. "This guy, Damien DeMarcos, knows me. Or, at least, of me. And
worships me."
"Excuse me?"
"He's a believer," Mulder explained. "He's heard of me via the various UFO
networks out there, and thinks I'm the messiah of all believers. Which is why
he's taken these people hostage. He wants to meet me. He wants to tell me his
story."
Dana studied his face, studied his dark eyes. "You're not telling me something,"
she said bluntly.
He sighed and ran a hand through his dark hair. "You're right. If I go in, they
can't wire me. This Damien guy has threatened to kill everyone, including me, if
he discovers a wire."
The blood in Dana's veins turned ice cold. She gripped his arm, aghast. "You're
not going in, are you?"
"Skinner's giving me a couple of minutes to decide," he told her. "I don't have
to do it. But I want to ask you."
"You can't do it."
"I think I have to," he replied carefully. "If I don't do it, people could die."
"You could die."
"But if this guy kills someone, I'll spend the rest of my life questioning
myself. That maybe, if I'd gone in, I could have stopped it."
Dana let go of his arm and sat down on the spiral staircase that led to the
reference section. "You've already decided, haven't you?" she asked.
He smiled half-heartedly. "I guess I have."
She looked down and tucked back a lock of hair. When she looked up, her blue
eyes were shining with tears. "I guess you better tell Skinner, then."
As if on cue, Skinner came up behind them. "Tell me what?"
"That he's going in," Dana informed him.
Skinner looked mildly surprised. "I'm surprised. I thought that something" - he
glanced at Dana - "might have stopped you."
"Subtle, sir," Dana said, rolling her eyes. "And I tried. He won't listen."
Mulder sat beside her on the staircase, and pushed back her red-gold hair. "Wish
me luck?" he asked softly.
For a long time she remained silent. Then she leaned forward and kissed him
softly. "Be careful," she whispered. "Please."
"I promise." They kissed again, then Mulder stood up and left with Skinner.
Dana closed her eyes, struggling to ignore the tears that stung her eyes, and
the feeling of dread that lay in her stomach.

**
Dana didn't even remember turning onto Barker St. She realized that while her
memories came back to her, she was on auto-pilot. She looked at her
surroundings, and saw a sign that made her stomach tie up in knots.
Barker St Presbyterian Church.
Tears filled her eyes. Everything blurred. And the past came back to haunt her.

**
It seemed like it had been hours since he went in. But her watch told her it had
been exactly thirty-three minutes. She closed her eyes and ran a hand through
her hair. "I need to calm down," she announced to no one in particular.
At that moment Skinner walked past and she grabbed him. "What's taking so long?"
she demanded.
He sighed. "Dana. Calm down. These things take time." As soon as the words left
his mouth, a shout rang through the library.
"The hostages are coming out!"
Skinner and Dana exchanged glances and ran to the front of the building. "Is
Mulder with them?" she asked Agent Kulbury breathlessly.
"Wait, they're still coming out." Silently, they watched as the small crowd of
hostages left the church. In perfect timing, paramedics and cops ran up to them
and ushered them inside the library.
Mulder wasn't among them. Which could only mean one thing.
He was still inside.
Tears of panic filled Dana's eyes. "Oh, lord," she breathed. "Let him be all
right."

Half an hour later, Dana was wandering aimlessly, biting her lower lip
anxiously. Agent Sara Phillips was looking after Jadzia; Dana was too worried to
give Jadzia the attention she deserved.
A hand rested on her shoulder and she jumped.
"Calm down, Dana," Skinner said. "Please. You're not doing yourself any good."
Dana spun on him, her azure eyes flashing. "Don't tell me to calm down," she
snapped. "When there's a reason to calm down, I'll calm down."
"Dana, please," Skinner tried. "Maybe you should go home."
"I am not going home!" she cried. "Not when he's still in there."
Skinner sighed. "Fine. Then at least go get some coffee. A Valium. Whatever.
Something. Anything."
Dana took a deep breath. "Coffee. I can handle that."
"There's a coffee shop next door," Skinner informed her. "Come on, I'll go with
you."

Skinner and Dana stepped out of the library. Dana looked helplessly at the
church. Skinner gently led her down the steps. As she stood on the pavement, a
gunshot rang through the air.
Dana inhaled sharply. "Mulder," she whispered. Without thinking, she darted
across the street.
"Dana!" Skinner called after her.
She ignored him and kept running. She shoved the double doors open. She saw a
blond man with a gun in hand standing over a body.
She'd shot him before she realized she'd even drawn her gun. The man fell to the
ground, shock etched onto his face. But she barely noticed.
All she noticed was Mulder lying there in a pool of almost garishly red blood,
paler then she'd ever seen him.

The next she remembered was sitting beside him in hospital. Knowing he was going
to die. And knowing she couldn't do a thing about it.
"Dana?" came a timid voice from behind her. Dana looked up and saw Sara Phillips
behind her, holding Jadzia. "Assistant Director Skinner thought I should bring
her in."
Dana tried to smile through her tears. "Thanks, Sara."
Sara handed Jadzia to her mother and stepped back. "I'm sorry, Dana."
Dana nodded and held her daughter close, laboring to hold back her sobs.
"Mommy? What's wrong?"
Dana stroked her daughter's soft curls. "Daddy has to go away, Jazzy," she began
carefully. "He won't be coming back."
"Why?" Jadzia asked, her lips trembling the way they always did before she
cried.
"Just because, Jazzy."
"Dana?"
Dana looked at Mulder, and saw his eyes had opened. "I'm gonna die, aren't I?"
he asked.
Dana nodded. "There's nothing they could do."
He swallowed and took her hand. "I love you more than anything," he told her,
his voice quiet. "I always will."
Face streaked with tears, Dana lifted his hand and kissed it. "I'll love you
forever," she promised, her voice straining. "I promise."
"Let me have Jadzia for a minute."
Dana lifted Jadzia up onto his bed. "Don't leave me, Daddy," Jadzia begged, her
aqua eyes shining with tears. "Please."
A single tear ran down his cheek. "I'm sorry, Jazzy-bear." He kissed her. "Be
good for mommy."
"Don't leave me, Daddy," Jadzia repeated, crying. "Please, daddy."
Dana held her daughter as her tiny frame shook with sobs. She reached out and
brushed a tear from Mulder's face. She leaned forward and kissed him sweetly for
the last time.
"I'll always be with you," he told her, his voice barely audible. "Remember
that."

**
When Dana finally found 240 Bell St, Jadzia was asleep and she was crying.
Parking her car, she rested her head on the steering wheel and cried.
Her mother, having heard her car, came outside to greet her. When she saw Dana
sobbing over the steering wheel, her eyes widened in concern and she quickly
crossed to the car. She opened the door and held her crying daughter.
"Dana, what's wrong?"
"I went past the church," she whispered between sobs. "The church where it all
ended . . ."
"Let the past go," she told Dana, stroking her hair gently. "Let it go."
"I can't," Dana cried. "I love him too much to let go."
"He loved you, too, Dana," she reminded her. "And he wouldn't want you to be so
unhappy. Let it go, Dana. Let the past go."

- You wanted a sequel, and you got it. Are you happy? Did you like at as much as
part one? Did you like it more than part one? Come one, I'm feedback hungry -
don't disappoint me.

Hey, everyone, sorry I didn't write a review, but my stupid satellite chose

be this way for a few days. OH NO! GOD FORBID! That means I'll have to
watch Just Shoot Me at the same time as everyone on the East coast! (Just
because we don't have the feeds doesn't mean we don't have New York,
Washington, DC, and Denver channels!) I will, however, in the near future
send out an em with a review/preview from my friend Jamie. SHE gets to see
it early EVERY WEEK!

Pray for me everyone, this medication is making
me...woooooooozzzzzzyyyyy...... Stupid Nasonex! Oh! An X!
Hmm...coinkedink?  I think NOT!

Rambling on incessively, I would like to tell everyone this:

****
The Reinists are famous in the Saddle Mountain area in Washington. Many
murders have been chalked up to their account, but nobody want to point any
fingers at them. Everyone fears them. Everyone fears for their life.

The Reinists consist of seven members, each given a name according to their
position in the society. The leader of the group is the Gross Ein, or the
great one. The second in command is the zweit, the third is the dritte, the
fourth is the vierte, the fifth is the funfte, the sixth is the sechste, and
the seventh is the siebte.

Every week, a different member has to bring what they called the Ware; the
goods; the enemies. The Reinists simply defined the enemy as "someone that
isn’t us". Some people like to think of that as someone who isn’t German,
while others who are more paranoid tend to think that they mean someone who
isn’t a Reinist.

Those closer to the group know the background. They know that they are
practically neo-Nazis, and have something against anyone who gets in the way
of their cause. Their cause being this: to completely eliminate the enemy.
What struck fear into the hearts of everyone was that ‘the enemy’ has never
been clearly defined.

Outside of their weekly meetings, the members are normal people, with jobs
and friends and lives. Until Sein Tag, and the time around Sein Tag. Sein
Tag is ‘his day’, or the day that one member has to bring in two people for
the group to sacrifice to the god. Today wasn’t special; just another Sein
Tag, just another innocent life chalked up to their cause, just another
unsuspecting soul befriended by a Reinist, then picked out for their faults
and dragged in for Sein Tag. Just another useless person.

~~~~
Six people sat in a circle around a circle of stones in the woods. Once the
vierte got here, they could begin. Mutters went around the circle about
where the vierte was.  He knew the consequences if he didn’t show.  He knew
there were further consequences if he didn’t show on Sein Tag.  A few
minutes passed before he showed up, a man and women in tow.
"I am sorry, Gross Ein.  It shall not happen again," the seventh remarked.
"Make sure of it."  The Ein was not pleased.  But as long as the vierte
brought along the Waren, everything was fine.
The zweit and the dritte got up from their position on the ground.  The
zweit took the man; the dritte took the woman.  The man was tied up against
a post and placed in the middle of the circle of stones and the woman was
stripped and tied to a tree.
"Let us begin," the Ein said. Everyone scattered and came back several
minutes later carrying sticks, logs, and brush.  They laid the shrubbery at
the man’s feet.  Sitting back in the circle again, they each took a match,
lit it, and placed a piece of the shrub and stick mix on fire.
"Wir rein!" The Ein shouted.
<We are pure>
"Wir rein!" The others responded.
"Wir wollen bleiben rein!"
<We will stay pure>
"Wir wollen bleiben rein!" Each response grew louder.
"Annehmen dieser Opfer, o Gott!"
<Accept this sacrifice, o God>
"Annehmen dieser Opfer, o Gott!"
"O Gott die Teufel." <O God the devil> The last response was said in unison
as they all stood, watching the man burn in flames, listening to his voice
cry out, only to be heard by the trees.  The seven men walked over to the
tree where the woman was tied up. Each man took a turn at beating her, the
siebte to the Gross Ein.  After half an hour of torture, they rekindled the
fire and threw the woman on the burning bushes.  The Great Ein spat in the
fire, before saying what he always said after a sacrifice. "Auf
Wiedersehen!"
<Good bye>
"Hoch lebe Reinheit."
<Long Live Purity>
The woman’s body burned quickly, each cry and gasp screamed out in the night
only provided the Gross Ein with more pleasure.  His plan was going well.
After these two people appear missing after messing with the Reinists, that
should pose a lesson to the others out there…you don’t get in the way of the
Gross Ein.
For anyone who is wanting to join the RPG, here is the current status:
Diana Fowley (me)
Alex Krycek (Krista)
Dana Scully (Hannah)
The welcome message you got when you subscribed would have said that Cancer Man
was taken. This is no longer true. This part was supposed to be taken by a chick
called Kelly, but we had a major dispute the other day, and, well . . . I don't
think she'll be joining anytime soon.
So basically most of the characters are open. (Jenni, you've been one of the few
active members. I expect you to choose a character soon. Like five minutes ago.)
Later,
Kimberley
(Reading over what I just wrote, I realised this status is entirely depressing.)
Redux II
The End (boy, do I hate that Fowely.  although, she DOES present an internal
conflict, so that makes everything more interesting, now doesn't it?)
Sorry I've been quiet lately guys, I had no idea how much time goes into
studying for an AP test. Plus I had State Band Compition today. We actually
did really well, so I'm in a good mood.   But I'm in computer withdrawal, I
haven't been on for 5 days. I think that's a new record for me or something.
Okay, I don't think I can single out an all time favorite episode, I like
pretty much all of them. But one that ranks up there is All Souls. I know it
isn't very shippy (although the scene at the police station where Mulder
tells Scully to back away from the case is wonderful) but I still get choked
up during those confessional scenes and when Scully sees Emily. Gillian
definitely deserved an Emmy for that on. Also, I tend to enjoy the lighter
eps, like Bad Blood and Arcadia. And you can't forget Jose Chung's From Outer
Space or Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose.
Cheers,
Jenni
Okay, everyone, I realize that this is off the subject, but....
Well, I was supposed to tape a Shania Twain concert for my dad.  (He just
loves her.)  I, however, being the blonde that I am, forgot about it
*completely*!  Until 11:00.  I thought, "Well, I can just put it in at 11 and
tell him that the way it is on the tape is the way it was one TV".  Not only
did that make no sense, but, as it turns out, the concert ended at 11!  So I
REALLY need help trying to think up an excuse...
Hannah, thanx for your title suggestions. I'll consult Krista for her opinion.
Usually I'm good with titles but this time I've got the biggest blank.
I started a sequel today, I'm sick and miserable and have nothing better to do.
Hopefully it'll explain everything I didn't.
Hi everyone,
This is a fairly bodgy fanfic I whipped up today because I'm feeling like hell
and I needed something to take my mind off my lack of health - Krista knows how
much I complained today. I don't have a name for it yet, so I'm open to
suggestions. Tell me what you think, OK?
*******
"Tell me about daddy."
The request was firm and unwavering. It was also a request she'd heard so many
times.
"What do you want to know?"
"Tell me the story. About daddy and how he's with the angels."
She'd heard the request before. But it always brought her close to tears.
In all honesty, he hadn't been her father. But that's what they told her.
Because that's what they all wanted.
She pulled her daughter on her lap, and idly toyed with the soft red-gold curls
on her head. And she began to remember a time before the one man she ever loved
left to be with the angels.
Mulder ran through the disinfectant-smelling halls of the hospital, unmistakable
urgency etched on his face. He couldn't count how many doors he'd been through,
or how many people he had passed. There was only one thought on his mind:
I have to get to her.
Finally, he saw something he wanted to. Her mother.
He skidded to a halt, and gripped her shoulders. "Where is she?" he asked, a
frantic edge to his voice.
She pointed to a door across the hall. Mulder started to cross the hall, but she
called after him.
"Fox, wait!"
Mulder spun around to look at her. "What?" She could see the fear in his eyes.
She placed a hand on his arm. "Calm down, Fox. I just wanted to tell you she's
still unconscious."
Mulder gulped in air. "But she's OK?"
"The doctors are still running a test or two, but they said she's going to be
fine." She let her hand drop to her side. "Will you stay with her? I need to go
and get a few things for her at her apartment."
Mulder didn't need to say anything in response. His eyes said it all. He turned
again and headed into her room.
He'd been sitting with her for half an hour before he heard. A doctor entered
the room, manila folder in one hand, her silver chain in the other. "Agent
Mulder?" she began, running her finger along the inside of her chain.
He rose from his chair. "Yes?"
"Test results are in," she informed him, her voice low. "She's going to be
fine."
He breathed a sigh of relief.
"However," she continued, causing fear to clutch at Mulder's stomach. "I did
find something that's well, a little out of the ordinary."
Mulder looked at the doctor blankly.
"She's pregnant."
He blinked. "Say what?"
The doctor twisted her necklace between her fingers. "She's pregnant."
Mulder took her elbow and dragged her out of the room. As soon as the door was
closed, he turned to face her. "You can't be serious."
"I am way serious," she countered. "Look, I know Dana's history. I know she's
not supposed to be able to have children. But the fact remains. She's pregnant."
"She can't be!"
"I know! And being aware of her history, I did the test over. Twice. The test
doesn't lie. And if it did, it wouldn't lie three times."
Mulder sat down, feeling slightly dizzy. "This cannot be happening."
"Mommy?"
Dana blinked, and looked at her daughter. "Yes, Jazzy?"
"You stopped talking. And I want to hear about Daddy."
Dana looked down at her daughter's stubborn blue eyes and sighed. "Come on,
Jazzy. You know the story. You've heard it lots of times."
Truth be known, Dana just didn't want to relive the whole thing.
"I want to hear it again. Please, Mommy? I want to hear about Daddy."
Dana's eyes opened and closed again almost instantaneously, shielding against
the harsh sunlight that flooded the small room. Cautiously she opened them,
allowing them to adjust. When they did, they first thing they settled on was
Mulder. She smiled. "Hey," she greeted him quietly.
He reached out and smoothed red-gold hair from her forehead. "Hey. How are you
feeling?"
"OK. How long was I gone?"
"Eight days," he told her, his voice low.
"Did you wig?"
"I wigged."
Dana laughed, causing him to smile. "What did the doctor say?"
As Dana watched, his expression became guarded. She kept her eyes on his - she
wanted to know if he was keeping anything from her.
"She said you're fine," he began hesitantly. "But she also found something else.
Something that, really, shouldn't be there."
As soon as he said it, he knew that he'd worded it wrongly. Her blue-green eyes
filled with fear, and she swallowed. "It's not the cancer is it?"
Mulder's dark eyes widened. "Oh, no! No, it's not that. It's not. Definitely."
"Care to tell me what it is, then?"
Mulder took a deep breath, then exhaled, looking at the ceiling. He took one of
her hands in his. "Dana, I don't know how to begin telling you this. I guess
Ill just come out and say it."
"Say what?" she asked, a frustrated edge to her voice.
"That you're pregnant."
Shocked, Dana jerked her hand from his. "Excuse me?"
"The doctor told me."
"Then the doctor's wrong."
Mulder took his partner's hand again and looked into her blue-green eyes. "Look,
I know it's hard to believe. But the doctor is positive. You're pregnant."
Dana sank back, her eyes wide. "Whoa . . ."
"Mommy, don't cry."
"I'm not crying, Jazzy. I'm just remembering."
"How? How could this have happened? Answer: It's not happening. This is all just
a dream. Or something. I don't know. But this is not happening."
Mulder watched patiently as Dana tried to convince herself that this wasn't
happening. When she finally stopped, he merely looked at her and asked, "You
done with your denial?"
"Mulder, if this is a joke, tell me now."
"I'm not joking, I swear."
Panic rushed to fill her blue eyes and she grabbed him by the collar. "What am I
gonna do?"
"Calm down, Dana," he said. "Just take it easy."
"How?" she demanded. "How could this happen?" She narrowed her eyes. "You have a
theory, right?"
"I do." Mulder leaned forward intently. "OK. So the first time you were
abducted, the ability to have children was taken from you. Two months ago, you
were taken again. I think the second time around, they restored that ability."
"And impregnated me to prove it," Dana finished.
Mulder nodded. "That's what I'm thinking. Now that it's been two months, it's
showed up."
Dana ran a hand through her hair, and closed her blue eyes. "Mulder, what am I
gonna do?"
Mulder shrugged helplessly. "I don't know, Dana. When you're mom comes back,
maybe -"
Urgent fingers clamping his arm cut him off. "Oh my God, Mulder, my mom! What am
I going to tell her?"
"That you're pregnant?"
Dana heaved an exasperated sigh. "Mulder. Think. When I tell my mom, what is
going to be her first question?"
Mulder's eyes widened in realization. "She'll want to know who the father is,"
he filled in quietly.
"Exactly. And I don't know who the father is." She paused, and for a moment the
only sound in the room was the quiet chattering of birds outside the window. "I
can't tell her the truth. And if I tell her I don't know who the father is -"
"You'll sound like a slut," Mulder finished.
"Not exactly the image I'm going for," Dana continued. She gnawed her lower lip
anxiously. "What am I going to tell her?"
Mulder shook his head wordlessly, unsure how to help her. They both fell silent,
and the air filled with the sound of the birds outside.
It seemed like hours later when Mulder finally came up with an idea - and idea
so obvious that he was surprised she hadn't thought of it.
"There is one way out of it."
Up till then, Dana had been tugging at her gold chain anxiously, staring blankly
out the window. Even though she'd been facing away from him, he figured she'd
been staring blankly, judging by the fact that the only visible scenery was the
side of another building. Her blue eyes snapped towards him, hope flooding them.
"What?"
"Why don't we tell your mom I'm the father?"
This time her blank stare was directed at him.
"Or not," he finished.
Dana shook her head, flustered. "No, Mulder, I didn't mean anything by not say
anything." She paused. "There's something definitely grammatically incorrect
about that sentence. Anyway, what I'm trying to say that's a great idea. If
you're up to it."
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"I don't want you to do something you don't want to do," she explained. "By
telling my mom that, you're pretty much becoming this kid's father. I don't want
you to feel if you have to do this just because I'm having issues."
Mulder grasped her hand and looked into her eyes. "Dana, I want to do this. I
want to help you. And I want to help this baby."
Grateful tears filled Dana's eyes and she kissed his hand softly. "Thank you."
Ten minutes later, the door swung up soundlessly. Both looked up to see Dana's
mother standing there. After greeting her daughter with a kiss, she looked at
her and merely said, "You have something to tell me."
Dana shoved back a lock of hair and offered her mother a weak smile. "Yeah. We
do."
Mulder stood up and offered his chair to her. "You might want to sit down for
this," he advised.
Warily, she sat, keeping her eyes on the two the whole time. "What is it?"
Dana took a deep breath. "OK, mom. I don't know how to tell you this, but just .
. . don't freak out. Mom, I'm . . . I'm . . . "
"She's pregnant," Mulder blurted out.
Dana aimed a slap at his arm. "Hey, down Mr. Enthusiasm."
"You're pregnant?" her mother asked, shocked. "Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Who's the father?"
Dana shot Mulder a sideways glance. He knew what she was thinking. She was
giving him one last chance to back out.
Mulder smiled sheepishly and raised a hand. "Hi."
Her mother's eyes widened in astonishment. "You're joking." She shot her
daughter a look. "You are joking, right?"
Dana shook her head. "No joke, mom."
"How did this happen?" she demanded. She paused. "Not how. I know how. When.
When did this happen?"
"I think it was . . . a couple of months ago," Mulder lied smoothly. "Right,
Dana?"
"Right," she agreed. "Two months ago."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
Mulder shrugged. "We just wanted to keep it quiet. We knew it wouldn't be met
with complete approval. So we kept quiet."
Dana looked at him. He was lying so smoothly, so flawlessly, she practically
found herself believing him. Not only that, she found herself wanting to believe
him. She wanted to pretend that they really were together, that it really was
his baby. She wanted to pretend that he really did love her as much as she loved
him.
Tears coursing down her cheeks, Dana wrapped her arms around her daughter,
memories flooding her mind. Her young daughter wiped her tears away with a
chubby hand.
"Don't cry, mommy," she said earnestly, her blue eyes serious. "Daddy wouldn't
want you to cry."
"I know, Jazzy," Dana replied, rocking her daughter slightly as she swallowed
her tears. "I know."
"I want to hear about daddy. Please tell me the story."
"No, Jazzy. Please. Not today."
"I want to know."
"All you need to know is that he loved you more than the world. Nothing else is
important."
- What's the opinion? Did you love it? Did you hate it? Hell, did you even read
it? Do you want to know more? I do have a continuation in mind, but it depends
if you want it. So come on, don't hold back, flood me with feed back. I'll
respond to everything, promises!
Later,
Kimberley
Hey guys,
For those of you who still don't know (that'd be most of you, no doubt) I'm
it's heaps of fun. Interested?
OK, for Jenni, my stats are as such:
hi everyone!  It's me <again>.  I was channel surfing, and I found out that I
get to see XF before anyone else! <We have a satellite, so we get feeds>.  I
was wondering if it was alright for me to write up a preview/review and send
it out to all of you after I watch it?
Also, one of the people I work for (editing stories, of course) just sent out
the first fart of her very first fanfic and i was wondering if it was alright
with everyone if I send it out on this list...
EM me back, PLEASE!
In a somewhat desperate attempt to spice up this list (although, it isn't
even mine...) I am going to tell everyone about what I did today!  Our school
did a thing called 'Shadow Day' where we get to following around someone for
a day.  Me and a few of my friends followed around this actress at the
community theatre (my passion <besides horses and editing ;)> is acting).
And at one point, we did this improv where three people are given a
personality and they're going to this party where the host has to figure out
what that personality was.  Just my luck, I drew "Game Show Host with Tight
Underwear".  Needless to say, I was thrilled.  It would be something easy!
So I did my wonderful acting job and got a HUGE round of applause from the 17
people there, then took a seat.  I later got to be an ice cream cone and a
child who wanted a puppy in two other games.
Unfortunately, this bright day ceased when I, the graceful person that I am,
decided to throw something away as I was getting off the bus.  I missed the
corner as I was walking down the stairs (hey, I was focused on getting the
bottle in the trash!) and fell down the bus stairs, ending up with a twisted
knee.  Aren't I lucky?
Okay, peoples, someone other than me and Jenni gets to talk now...so please
do!
~~Hannah
Okay, everyone, in an attempt to start something, I'd like people to fill
this out and send it back to the list, k? (just erase my answers)
My favorite character: Scully all the way, baby!
My favorite side character: Well, before they killed off WMM, it was him, but
now I  have to say...oh, wait, Queequeg's dead, too!  so it would
be...probably Skinner
My favorite angst ep: Pusher!
My favorite shipper ep: Umm...oh, god, I have sooo many!  But, I'd have to
say  Irresistible wins.  I don't know why...although, Redux II comes in
there close, too
My favorite ep: Definitely Irresistible
My favorite fanfic writer: Karen Rasch!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now, onto the nonsense catagory....

My favorite _______ is:

toothpaste: aquafresh (ducks flying cow) hey! I'm aware it's not creative,
but what are ya gonna do bout it?

shampoo: herbal essences (ducks another flying cow)

food: lefsa <~~~ That Norwegian in me is talking now!

drink: a brand that only a few people have heard of: SoBe. I really like
the wisdom kind (in my house, we never watch XF without SoBe, my special
popcorn, and the official XF blanket <it's a reversable red and blue
comforter>)

movie: I really don't have one, because you know, as soon as you declare one
as your fave, one comes along that you liked even better. But high on
my list are: Jerry Maguire, Ever After, My Best Friends Wedding, FTF, and
something that I can't remember the name of right now. <g> BTW: I
absolutely despised Titanic!

animal: horses rock!

ethnic group (ducks flying cow yet AGAIN): yeah, I know it's a stupid
question, but hey! whaddya gonna do bout it? <g> Germans rule!
Norwegians, too!  <~~~Half
	 Norwegian, Half German

gum: juicy fruit, big red

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When was the last time you:
talked on the phone?   a few minutes ago
took a walk?  come on!  I have to walk up a big hill EVERY FREAKING DAY!  so
don't be asking me about walks!  wait. I asked myself...
took a shower?  approximately 30 minutes ago
said 'I Love You'?  Well, I've been sucking up for a new riding outfit (I get
to go riding  soon!)  so probably about 5 minutes ago
wrote a letter?  Well, my friend Bri and I were passing notes in our boring
science  class today...does that count <Hannah to Hannah: why, yes it
does!> thanks,  Hannah!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hang out mostly with: Megan, Mandy, Kassy, Carrie, Lori...the list goes
on...

I talk on the phone mostly with: Megan

I e-mail the most: Erin, Megan, Mandy

I get a lot of these kinds of surveys from: Lauren!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a scale 1-10, I would rate my _____ at:
phileness: 10
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hannah rates a ____ in my book! (fill in the blank, 1-10) A 10!

Feel free to write an additional note to Hannah before filling out the last
question:

Last question? (Are you happy?) yes!

Too bad that wasn't the final question! This is:

It took me ___long to complete this: about 15 minutes, considering *I* wrote
it!

Well, since SOMEONE is talking, I guess I will too. My name is Hannah, I'll
be 13 on June 2 (as Jenni said, presents and/or cash is acceptable) and I
live in Washington (Washington state, not Washington D.C. <unfortunately>).
I love horses! And, as strange as it may sound, I love to edit 'shipper
stories. Most people don't like to use me as their editor because of my age
and those who do don't know I'm only 12. But I'm really good at editing (I'm
getting a 98% in my English class, that should prove that I'm at least an OK
editor!) even though I myself don't normally use proper English (but who
does, really?). That's really all I ahev to say *right now*, I will however,
prove to be rather talkative if this list ever proceeds into a conversation!
<g>

Come on, everyone, write back!

Okay, I guess I can talk! I'm Jenni, I'm 15 -16 July 19th, I will accept
birthday gifts and cash, lol- and I live in Iowa. I'm a major shipper, have
been forever. I have a challenge, all of you send in a message with your
vital statistics (you know, name, age, location, etc., anything you want to
say really). Maybe we can get this list going!

cheers,
Jenni

Hey,
Welcome to anyone who has joined this list. (I know there aren't many, but it's
still early days. Gimme time.)
I was just wondering, what's the level of interest for an RPG? (Role Playing
Game)
The major bonus with being one of the first join this list is that you pretty
much have the pick of the characters. Excepting:
Diana Fowley (me)
Krycek (Krista)
Cancer Man (Kelly, if she was being serious the other day)
Other than that, you can choose what you want!
So, is anyone interested?
Later,
Kimberley
