Hi,<br><br>I just joined this club after hearing
"Human" by the Pretenders on Click Radio and having a
wave of nostalgia wash over me. Does anyone out there
have any of the episodes that they'd be willing to do
a blanks and postage for? I wish that I had
something to offer, but the only Cupid related thing that I
have is the postcards that they put out to promote the
show that say "Barry White, ....., all rolled into
one." I don't even remember what they say
anymore.<br><br>If anyone is willing to help me out, please contact
me ay offy@...<br><br>Thanks
It's already started! Ellie has created her site

When oh when does the Cupid Virtual season start?
I tried some of the links, but they didn't go
anywhere..I did, however, find a Lois and Clark *complete*
virtual season by following various links, and I think
that should br a model for the Cupid one, it's very
well done. Looking forward to reading
lots!!<br><br>Kate
Merry Christmas dear Cupidians! As you may or may
not know there is a fantastic site dedicated to Cupid
fan fiction. I'm currently working on few episodes to
continue what could have been the best show of all time
(though it's already my best show ever!) and I'm looking
for other writers who would like to continue the
season with me, exchange ideas on possible plots,
stories etc...<br><br>You're not a writer? it doesn't
matter. If you have ideas, or things you would have liked
to see it would be already a great
start.<br><br>Unfortunately I'm no Rob Thomas and I don't pretend I can
replace him or the other brilliant writers on the show,
but it's still a way to be in contact with the great
energy the show could give.<br><br>e-mail me at:
catherinedesgranges@...<br><br>and if you never went there, have a look at
the
incredibles stories written by the Cupid
fans:<br><br><a href=http://ebonlock.simplenet.com/Cupid/cupidfic.html
target=new>http://ebonlock.simplenet.com/Cupid/cupidfic.html</a><br><br>Or write
your own story!<br><br>Can't wait to hear
from you! Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all
of you!!!

all?<br>If so..can you email me at ScullyinNZ@...<br>That would be
awesome...<br>Spot ya<br>Scully!
have been fairly busy writing letters to try to
save the show. I know that hasn't taken up 100% of my
time, but now instead of new episodes to discuss, we
seem to be down to exchanging ideas to save the show
and handing out addresses.
ey, what goes on here? Are we all still in so
much mourning that no one can post a new message since
the cancellation was announced? I can see people are
still coming through here, so why not say something? We
can still talk to each other, right?

ell, I just heard the news. I took off work
early to come home and mourn. I've sent off the
necessery e-mails, but I feel there should be more I can
do! How many hits are the "save Cupid" pages getting?
Maybe I can advertise them a bit...
hmmmm.<br><br>suggestions?
have added the information to save Cupid on my
website. We need to get as many letters out there as
possible! Please let me know what I can do to help. I will
be contacting the e-mails that have been listed
here, and writing my letter to ABC today. I am so sick
of the networks cancelling everything that I like!
The show has barely had a chance to gain an audience.
I am just so mad...<br>If anyone has any addtional
information or advice not yet posted here, please contact me
at:<br>tatianaromano13@...<br>Thank you.
heard today that Cupid was cancelled by ABC. I
have been emailing people all over to start people
writing letters and emails to save one of the best shows
to come along in years. You can send a letter (snail
mail) to Stu Bloomberg-ABC-2040 Avenue of the Stars-Los
Angeles, CA 90067. Be sure to write SAVE CUPID on the
envelop. I also heard you can call (212)456-7477. I
believe that this is ABC's phone number. I personally
emailed radio personality Mancow (in Chicago) That is
where I heard about the cancellation. I emailed ABC, TV
Guide, and a save cupid campaign address. I will post
more if I get anymore info. Feel free to email me at
k2chat@....
hursday night's episode was a rerun, "Heart of
the matter". If you haven't seen it before, it starts
out with one of Trevor's rants about how no one
connects anymore. He then befriends an assistant coach of
the Chicago Blackhawks, who he "gets this feeling" is
perfect for his quiet neighbor. His neighbor is a woman
who is incredibly stand-offish, and doesn't want
anything to do with Cupid, his new friend Dan, or anyone
else.<br>It turns out she's dying of a degenerative heart
disease, and wants to be alone in her misery. This of
course doesn't stop Cupid from setting the two of them
up. Even after the first encounter goes awry, he
manages to set them up again. They have a wonderful date,
and they feel this incredible connection. She didn't
tell him she's dying, though. <br>Then, in a strange
twist of events the guy dies the next day. Cupid begins
to doubt his intuition for who was meant for
eachother. Everything seems to be going terribly
when...Cupid gets a call. It turns out the guy was a perfect
tissue match for this woman, and she receives a heart
transplant in the end.<br><br>Even though I've seen it
before, I had to see it again, because it was fantastic!
looked for Cupid on Thursday night, but I couldn't find it. Did you guys get
Cupid? If you did, please tell me what it was about. Oh, and mysfyt24, what is
your site's address?--MsMossie
have to say that every episode gets better and
betetr. Jermey Piven gets all the great lines! I am going
to be posting a site soon with all the best lines.
If anyone would like to submit their favorite line,
please email me at cupid@... My favorite line
tonight was "Excuse me, can I see your invitation to this
conversation?"<br>Send yours! I need them for my site!
agree. The writing is great. By the way, I'm
going out of town and away from my computer, so
although the vcr is set I may not be able to participate
in a discussion immediately after the show, but I'll
weigh in when I can.
ey, I really do agree with you on a number of
things, but what really draws me to the show is the
writing. I haven't seen bantering like this since the
heyday of Dave and Maddie on Moonlighting. This is a
show that isn't afraid to keep up the quick
conversation and assumes that the audience can keep up. Cupid
is a smart, funny, and often romantic show. I also
note that the writer have given themselves a way for
Trevor to be both Cupid and human after all. All they
have to do is have him get his 100 couples and then
fall in love with Clair...which he is in the process
of doing anyway. So he does turn out to be Cupid
after all, but he gives up his godhood for the love of
his Psyche...um psychiatrist.
i to all. For some reason, I did not find you a
week or two ago when I was looking in Yahoo Clubs, so
I started my own (Cupid Fanclub). So naturally, now
that it is up, when I came back in to check on it
today, I found all of you! I will be telling anyone else
who joins the Fanclub to just come here.<br><br>I
love the show, but to me whether Trevor is "really"
Cupid is sort of beside the point. (I assume that he is
and don't worry about it). They have to keep that
ambivalent in order to keep one of the main conflicts that
drives the story going. (Do I sound like a writer?
Sorry...) What I like is the effort they make to seriously
look at what goes on in dating and relationships and
not to sugar coat them or treat them any more
superficially than one hour a week mandates. For example, there
was the episode where Trevor's roommate (I've
forgotten his name - apologies) was getting the notes from
a secret admirer and ended up blowing a good thing.
Same for the girl who went out for a while with the
less than handsome guy. These are issues worth looking
at and talking about.
think all that you mentioned certainly draws
someone to conclude that Trevor is just delusional, but
the way the show is constructed, it would be an
incredible letdown if he is not the god of love. That said,
there is a way for the writers to have him be both a
god of love and in the end stay mortal. The
connection between Psyche and Clair is clear, I mean it took
me a while to realize the name Psyche is also part
of Clair's profession. I would write it, however my
spelling is atrocious, as this last word has proven.
Anyhow, I found it intresting that according to Trevor,
the story of Psyche never happened...could it be
possible that it will happen in the future, between Clair
and Trevor. Is this the ultimate end to the Cupid
series?
hey seem rather ambigious regarding his
identity. Remember a week or two ago when Claire found a
name of the person she thought Trevor really was and
sprung it on him? In the last episode, he made mention
of springing someone's real name on them. To me, it
sounded like they are trying to convince us that he's not
really Cupid. I also think that's what they were trying
to convey at the end of last weeks episode. Whatever
they do, I still want to believe that he's Cupid.
ell, it was intersting to see both had picked
the bug, but I also believe he is Cupid, so I think
there was any reason he acted sad at the end f the
episode.<br><br>Perhaps being a god he has knowledge of the love-obsessed
patient. Any theories?
o, what do you guys think? Do you think that Trevor is really this guy who
likes the bug. He kinda fits Trevor. Or are you all just Cupid believers? I'm
a cupid believer!
