--Didn't catch the show but in Susan's defense, she probably doesn't
want to dwell in the past (on past glories) and wants to leave that
early part of her life behind. In any case she's a beautiful and
talented actress. What makes the Partridge Family so special, to me
anyway, besides the great music and Reuben's scathing wit, is that
tuning into an episode is like stepping into a time machine where
you're magically returned to a simpler time and a happier place (I
know the early 70's were actually very chaotic: socially,
politically, etc., but it's SAFE to return there because we're
familiar w/ it...), and the reunions are nice, I suppose, to see
these people 30 years later but really not necessary. And I think the
idea of a Partridge reality show is horrid! But to each his own.
