What was the last movie with the blue version & relaxing music? It's fully red
now on most movies due to the popularity of logo variants. SG should redesign
the logo due to its outdated status.

I made a list of 20th century fox tv shows and movies that aired on Spike TV
which had the 2008 enhanced 20th TV logo at the end which I've seen during the
past 4 years:

Television:
The Unit

Movies:
All The Right Moves
The Omen
Damien: Omen II
Omen III: The Final Conflict
The Hills Have Eyes
Lake Placid
The Hills Have Eyes 2

At the end of a foreign print of “Falcon Crest” from the show’s second season, we are treated to little rarity.....the 1988 Lorimar Television logo, bylineless, but with the 1986 L-T “Comets” music.

So far, I've noticed they have episodes of "Family Ties" and "Happy Days" that
retain the Paramount Television Blue Mountain logo. Should also point out,
based on what I saw so far, that several "Happy Days" season 2 episodes are from
the DVD set. Ergo, we'll also get the silent CBS Paramount Wallpaper logo as
well. Hadn't had much time to check the other classic shows on their schedule,
so for anyone who has Hub, please keep us up to date. Thank you.

I noticed that also on yesterday's broadcast. Looks like half of what Me-TV
show originate from the DVD collections. There's are pros and cons that I have
noticed, in that respect...

Pros:
Some shows have the original logos intact. Others have uncut episodes (mainly
the 20th Television library)

Cons:
Some are plastered, obviously. Those shows that are uncut are prone to rapid
time compression to fit the designated 24/46 minutes (who here agrees that 4
minutes of nonstop ads are outrageous?).

On a relative note, those who've been capturing any and all logos from Me-TV
should keep an eye out... The watermark is not always visible on the
programming, I've noticed, so be sure to capture whatever you can at this point.
Good luck.

I have some questions related to the 1988 Paramount Home Video logo?

1. Were there any VHS tapes from 1987 and early 1988 that featured this exact
logo, but with the additional "75th Anniversary" mention on the CGI Mountain
logo of the period? This aspect may be limited to the package art only.

2. What was the first film from the 1975-86 period to use the very early version
of the 1988 PHV fanfare?
