For those interested, the open for 'The Magician,' a 1973 NBC series
with Bill Bixby. Theme scored & conducted by Pat Williams.

(The series lasted only one season, but underwent changes at the mid-
season point, and the opening credits changed somewhat at that time as
well. This is the opening used during the early portion of the
series.)

These clips were taken from Sci-Fi Channel showings around 1992, and
they *might* have faded out the opening a touch too soon. I'm told
the album version of the theme music includes more of a flourish at
the end.
