Comments: I missed Chad's performance. Eva was stellar yet again. She
picked the right Stones song for her voice and sang it flatout her
way. If you didn't she was contender last week, she proved it this
week. Tyler's performance was on par with last week, only this time,
he had a better song to sing. Ashley's vocals caught up with her great
stage presence. She's slowly putting it together. Steffi vocals were
slightly off, again, but she was weirdly entertaining, again. All the
stage presence in the world couldn't save Rob and Brandon's bad
singing. Sarah went back to her "Since You've Been Gone" days. The
judges think it's regression. I think she was just fine in a
blues-country way. Craig ended the show on a positive note with a
slight return to form. "Time Is On My Side" had some nice R&B-ish
moments for him to exploit. The show was not the trainwreck I thought
it would be.
