Henry Bromell and Michael Pressman have been hired by David E. Kelley as
executive producers of "Chicago Hope". They will replace John Tinker and
Bill D'Elia. Tinker and D'Elia will remain as consulting producers while
they develop new projects for 20th Century Fox TV.
Pressman was a co-executive producer of "Picket Fences" for 4 seasons. He
directed a dozen episodes of "Picket Fences" including the premiere. He
also directed the pilot episode of "Chicago Hope" and was an executive
consultant during Chicago Hopes first season. He all directed the DEK
written movie "To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday" and he co-produced DEK's
soon to be released movie "Lake Placid".
Bromell was the writer-producer of "Homicide: Life On the Street" and he was
also a producer on "I'll Fly Away" and "Northern Exposure". He also just
finished a movie called "Panic" with Neve Campbell which he wrote and
directed.
My opinion: Chicago Hope is going to kick ass next season!!!

Well another season is over. Thank God for Repeats!!!
What did everyone think of David E. Kelley's return. I thought it was
great. I loved seeing Jeffery Geiger again. Mandy Patinkin is supposed to
be in 9 episodes next season.
Did anyone else remember the Judge? DEK's sense of humor was all through
this episode.
What do you think off the 2 new doctors? I think the cardiologist looks a
little young, but I suppose that opens a lot of story ideas later on. It
was sad to see everyone leave, but than again they were the ones who wanted
to leave.
CBS is moving Chicago Hope to Thursday nights at 9:00 EST. It will be up
against Frasier next season. It's a good thing that DEK is back.
Just my thoughts.

Hello, My name is Shelly and I just joined. I am 24, married and from
Canada. I love Chicago Hope and everything else David E Kelley creates. I
have watched it from the beginning and I have never missed an episode. My
favorite past character has to be Mandy Patinkin (Jeffery Geiger) and my
favorite current characters are Adam Arkin (Aaron Shutt) and Mark Harmon
(Jack McNeil).
I look forward to hearing from everyone.

Hi, this is AngelaJ/Yeats. I know this is going to be tedious but it's
the only way I know to get posted to this group. Everything else I've
tried has failed and I can't figure out why. I've been posting Yeats
for 4 days now but apparently it's not showing up where it's supposed
to. I've apologized to what I thought was the wrong group and now I see
all the others on that group too. I'm completely baffled and could use
some help from the other members. Thanks, regards,
aj

Yeats: Here she comes..., she looks great! She's smiling..., good
sign. I'm gonna continue to play it cool... wait and see, wait and see.
"Dr. Austin, patient is a 50 year old male diagnosed with a myo-cardial
infarction and duedonal uclers. We can't chance anticoagulants for fear
of bleeding. Prognosis is grime (:-) Dr. Austin, what would you
recommend we do with what's his name?"
(Me: Here's the duh part... I know, I know, but I don't wanna get ahead
of myself or the tv script.)
"Uh, Kate, would you like to accompany me on a Yoga retreat?"
:-)

DR YEATS played by aj...
Hi, apparently I sent this to the wrong address...
Dr. Yeats, on a fellowship from Harvard, is becoming more and more
acclimated to his job at Chicago Hope and is currently working in the
ER, he's a floater, when a 50 year old male arrives with a myo-cardial
infarction. Yeats wants to admit him. Because the patient has a long
history of duodenal ulcer, standard treatment of anticoagulant drugs can
not be administered for fear of intestinal bleeding. Yeats asks for a
consult with Kate who is the cardiac surgeon on call. The patient
stabilized for the moment at least, Yeats takes a short breather to
think. His thoughts are with his patient but Kate is in his head too!
"What's going on here, he puzzles?" "What's she doing in my head?" He
is especially concerned about this, our good doctor Yeats is not the
type of physician subject to flights of fancy, yet, he lets himself
drift further into thoughts about what it would be like to be with
Kate..., what's she really like. Who is she really? "That's what I
want to know." While he has great respect for her as a doctor, even
fears her alittle emotionally, he knows sparks have been flying between
them ever since that first Christmas kiss. Bobby knows he has to decide
on his next move soon. What will he do? "There's that Yoga retreat
coming up soon, yes, I'll ask her to come along." He anticipates she
will go with him. "It's worth a try," he reasons, I'll ask her first
chance I get."

While I'm waiting for Kate's answer, does anyone wanna hear any of my

Congressional leadership is determined to impeach the President. This is not in
the best interests of our country. We face real economic and foreign policy
challenges. A besieged President and distracted Congress will not address these
issues.
I'm participating in an Internet campaign to tell our representatives that we've
had enough. The President should receive censure from the Congress and we should
all move on. It's time for the public interest to come first, and for our
representatives to show real leadership.
Will you help? Just go to http://www.moveon.org to sign the petition and take
action. It only takes a minute. And then if you send a message on to your
friends and colleagues, the ball will keep rolling. It's up to us.
Please feel free to forward this message to anyone you think would be
interested. Don't send this message indiscriminately. Spam hurts the campaign.
k, sorry this is not the most interesting mailing list yet! but as for my site,
the most recent thing on there is my first fan fiction story, which you can read
at:
<a href="http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Set/9302/fanfic/home1.html">Fan
fic</a>
I hope to get more stuff soon. in the meantime, feel free to discuss the show on
the list (which, if you dont know how - and i didnt until i got my own list -
you just go to the user center at http://www.onelist.com, log in, pick this list
if you subscribe to more than one, and there should be an option like "send mail
to the list". it should really be pretty self-explanatory, but i could never
figure it out.)
