Henry Bromell and Michael Pressman have been hired by David E. Kelley as
executive producers of "Chicago Hope". They will replace John Tinker and
Bill D'Elia. Tinker and D'Elia will remain as consulting producers while
they develop new projects for 20th Century Fox TV.
Pressman was a co-executive producer of "Picket Fences" for 4 seasons. He
directed a dozen episodes of "Picket Fences" including the premiere. He
also directed the pilot episode of "Chicago Hope" and was an executive
consultant during Chicago Hopes first season. He all directed the DEK
written movie "To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday" and he co-produced DEK's
soon to be released movie "Lake Placid".
Bromell was the writer-producer of "Homicide: Life On the Street" and he was
also a producer on "I'll Fly Away" and "Northern Exposure". He also just
finished a movie called "Panic" with Neve Campbell which he wrote and
directed.
My opinion: Chicago Hope is going to kick ass next season!!!
