I have a few of the American Portraits on video tape. I saw part of
a Bicentennial Minute the other day on you tube. On my audio tapes I
have many opens were the celebrity give his name and the part were it
was sponsored by Shell. Never the part in between. My Hawaii
recordings often skipped the This Is CBS afterword.- Guy

I might have the original file on older computer. Can't get that
computer on line so I'd have to copy it Lost track of original tapes
came from. Not sure of which one it is. Is it that 2 part episode
from 1975 which started of Cannon and concluded on Barnaby Jones?- Guy

Hi Rick: Sorry for the confusion. Joannec95 asked if we had any
Barnaby promos here, and I looked over Files and found that one.
It's Guy's file. Maybe he can find it again and post as an mp3. He
has posted so much material for us over the years, we should be
thanking him more. If he can do it, I'm sure he would appreciate it
if we gave him a little time. Sometimes old files can be time-
consuming to locate again. :-)

Hi: I have a couple of those on video. I'd have to check, but I
think they were called "An American Portrait," so someone please
correct me. They run kinda long as far as posting here is concerned,
but I could probably email the file to Guy so he can try posting it.
Believe it or not, I also have a couple of "Bicentennial Minutes" but
those are only on audio. One is from Dec. 1974, and the other from
June or July 1976. Will see if I can dig 'em up and post as mp3.
Give me some time on these...
"Does anyone remember the promos of (The Presidential Portrait) that
used to air on CBS between commercial breaks after the show that was
on ended, If I remember right, it was in 1987 and these promos used to
air on a Friday Night right after (Scarecrow & Mrs. King) and before
(Dallas) or a special or TV Movie that preempted it, and they were
about The Presidents Of The U.S.A. that was anchored by many of The
CBS News staff like Dan Rather, Charles Kuralt, Edward Bradley, Mike
Wallace, I don't remember who others were, and at the end it would
show each President in a circled seal with stars around it, I never
saw it again until TV Land used to air them and some of (In The News)
and then about two years later in 1998 they disappeared again, "Does
anyone remember it?"
There are; I just can't remember right now on what group they're posted. The
ones I remember are all audio.

Hello everyone! It has been a while since I added screencaps. I have
now posted 3 more promos in a new folder I created in this group
called "1979/Screencaps".
They are of a promo for that night's episode of "Lou Grant" from
10/15/1979 and was seen after an episode of "WKRP in Cincinnati"
entitled 'Baseball'.
I have posted 6 new screencaps onto the "1981/Screencaps" folder.
They are of 2 promos, one for the season premiere of "WKRP In
Cincinnati" at a new day and time and the CBS Special Movie
presentation of the Kenny Rogers movie "Coward of the County".
The promos were seen right before the closing credits of "Mr. Merlin"
from 10/6/1981.
That's all of the CBS promos for now. Whenever I do get more CBS shows
with CBS show and movie promos, I will post more pics.
I have posted 8 new screens in the "1981/Screencaps" section of this

TV NEW YORK" written on the bottom of the screen. The promo was
broadcasted on 3/12/1985 during CBS programming.
I have added three more screens onto a new folder I created on this
