Sneak Peeks

There are drugs afoot in Oakdale, and the younger sect is to blame.
But most of the kids decide that they are as put out by the problem as
the adults are. So, they plan a sting operation. Who is the target?
Will the scheme go off without a hitch? Here's what we were able to
find out. Casey digs himself deeper into trouble. Later, Lily and
Holden are concerned about Luke's probation status and make Luke
promise to stay away from the drug situation. He agrees, but will he
do as he says?

On the other side of town, it's time for a little gambling. Brad,
Katie, and Henry get busy with a little poker game, but when Vienna
arrives she's betting against Henry. In fact, she literally lambastes
him because she found the brochure on vasectomies. Will Henry be able
to talk his way out of this one? As Henry and Vienna face off over the
"snipping" situation, Katie collapses on the floor, much to Brad's
horror. Is Katie okay?

At the same time, Craig gets Carly on board with the fact that they
need to mount a launch party for the vodka. Turns out, however, that
the pressure gets the better of Carly and she turns to the bottle for
comfort. Does she over due it? If so, how will it affect her behavior?

Sneak Peeks


We all know that Ridge can be a bit pig headed. Well, this week is no
different. Even when Ridge narrowly escapes death, he remains
unimpressed, and unconvinced, by Rick's heroic effort. Will Rick ever
make headway with his once stepfather?

Speaking of Rick, he may not be getting any gold stars from Ridge, but
he does get the last word in on an overconfident Stephanie. What does
Rick say that puts Stephanie in her place? Whatever it is, he moves on
quickly to play on Brooke's guilt. Once he's effective there, he
subtly persuades her to see another option.

Shortly thereafter and unbeknownst to Ridge, Brooke pays Steffy a
visit. During their conversation, Brooke offers Steffy a suggestion.
What does Brooke suggest? Does it have anything to do with Rick's
persuasive ways? We can't spill all the beans, but we are at liberty
to say this much – prompted by Brooke, Steffy makes an altruistic
decision. What does she choose to do?

While in some corporate developments, Thorne eagerly anticipates being
appointed President of Forrester Creations. Will his hopes be realized
or dashed? Find out when you tune in to the Bold and the Beautiful
this week.

Sneak Peeks

The week begins as the funeral gets underway, but things will not go
smoothly. Like someone will pull a gun. Who would do such a thing and
why? More importantly, are shots fired?

When Jeffrey wants to choose baby names (oh they should visit
Soapdom's Soap Opera Baby Names pages for a great selection!), Reva is
not in the mood. Could it have something to do with the fact that
Shayne now considers Edmund part of his family? More importantly,
Edmund plans on telling Shayne about Lara's "condition. " How will
Shayne react when he sees the videotape?

At the same time, and grieving of his loss, Buzz has a plan to frame
Alan. It involves Phillip, but will Phillip cooperate? Later, when
Frank figures out what Buzz has in mind, will he be able to stop him?
We're not so sure, because before the week is out, Buzz and Alan will
face off. Then, on a positive note, Phillip vows to make things right
with his children. Are they open to his plan?

While across Springfield, Dinah and Mallet team up. What are they
joining forces for this time? Finally, the week winds down when Bill
learns that it was Grady who kidnapped Lizzie. Is he going to take
kindly to that? We think not but there is only one sure fire way to
find out. Tune in to Guiding Light this week.

THIS WEEK ON: AS THE WORLD TURNS

Janet comes to the aid of Carly on Thursday, February 26 . Craig gets
the surprise of his life when Lucy shows up at his home unexpectedly.
A frustrated Paul decides to get back at Meg by making the moves on a
hooker he's met. When he takes her to lunch, he spots Meg with Dusty
and is pleased to see that his being there with someone else has an
affect on her. Alison gets herself in deep when she tries to put
things together regarding Matt and Casey on Friday, February 27

The Inside Story: Baby Woes
Katie and Vienna are furious when they learn that both Henry and Brad
were thinking about getting vesectomies. Brad insists that he was only
with Henry to offer his support in his friend's time of need but Katie
has her doubts. Vienna, meanwhile wants to know why Henry would betray
her in such a way. Katie, still upset by what she's learned leaves
Brad behind and heads back to the house. Moments later as Brad is
walking in the door he finds Katie unconsious and bleeding. Rushing
her to the hospital, Brad is given the devastating news that Katie has
ectopic pregnancy but worse is that due to the extensive damage, she
will never be able to conceive. Unable to tell Katie right away, Brad
ponders alone what steps he can take to break the news. He later finds
out that Katie had been taking fertility drugs against the doctor's
stern warning. Brad soon goes back to Katie's room to give her the
news which breaks her heart in two. Meanwhile, Vienna, wanting the
best for her best friend tells her that she's willing to help her in
any way; even if it means becoming a surrogate for her.

A Closer Look: Unusual Suspect
After discovering the mysterious note, Casey goes to Luke and Noah and
relays that he believes that Elwood and Matt are both in cahoots
regarding the drugs that killed Reg. Believing that they can catch him
in spilling the beans, the guys ask Jade if she is willing to help
them.Unfortunately for them, Alison overhears and tells Matt what they
are planning. At the same time, Lily and Holden both tell their son
that he needs to steer clear of the mess going on since he still is on
probation. Noah and Luke both decide that they need fess up to what
they know and head over to see Margo. When Margo asks about the drugs,
Luke admits that Casey was the last person tt had them. Going back to
the house, Margo searches through Casey's backpack and is upset to
find that he has the same drugs that killed Reg. Casey insists that
he's not the one that gave Reg the drugs and when Alison arrives he's
livid; fingering her in possibly helping Matt frame him. Casey tells
Margo that Matt had to have planted the drugs in his bag, but Margo is
hesitant to believe her son. When they head to the police station,
they see that Matt is already there. Furious that he's being set up,
Casey lunges at Matt, while Margo corners Alison with some probing
questions. Before she can finish, the police arrive at the station to
report that they found a loarge sum of cash in Casey's belongings.
Margo demands where the money came from and Casey reluctantly admits
he won it while gambling. Soon after, Jade arrives at the station and
Margo begins questioning her only to learn that Casey requested her
help in cornering Matt. Without any other choice, Margo puts Casey
under arrest.

THIS WEEK ON: THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS

Chloe decides to tell Esther the truth about Cordelia, while Cane's
more than ever determined to take the newborn away from both her
parents when he meets with Michael. Tyra makes her situation worse
with Ana when she tries to hit the road. It's yet another showdown
between Heather and Victor when she gets in his face on Wednesday,
February 25 about his treatment toward Adam.

The Inside Story: Coming Unhinged
Sharon heads to the Abbott mansion to pick up a few items she's left
behind, where she and Jack have a tense moment. The moment is soon
broken when Billy arrives, which makes Sharon a bit unnerved. Once the
two of them alone, Billy and Sharon talk about what happened between
them the night before; Sharon wants it to be kept strictly between
them. The two share a brief moment of flirtation when Jack returns
into the room. Once alone together Jack instantly tries to worm his
way back into Sharon's heart by apologizing for all the things he's
done to cause their destruction of their marriage. Sharon dismisses
him, however, letting him know that it is too late for that and that
she has moved on with her life without him in it. Later that same day
Sharon is at the bookstore with Noah and Eden getting some things for
him when she slips a few books into Noah's book bag. When Shl aron
gets a phone call from the hospital telling them that her mother has
been admitted she tells Noah and he passes his bag over to Eden. Eden,
trying to leave the store sets off the sensors and is stop immediately
by security. Meanwhile at the hospital, Sharon and Noah are relieved
to learn that Doris will be fine but once Noah steps out of the room
to leave Sharon with her mother, she has a breakdown. Sharon tells
Doris that she doesn't know what's going on with her and how she has
been blanking out for short periods of time. Doris suddenly stuns
Sharon with the news that her blanking out has happened to her in the
past; something she refuses to listen to. Their serious discussion is
interrupted however when Nick calls to tell her that Eden has been
nabbed for shoplifting and that the bookstore manager wants to press
charges. An upset Sharon heads over the to store when she notices that
she has Brad's ceramic elephant in her bag. Once she arrives at the
bookstore she snaps on Phyllis and then goes after Eden. Nick seeing
how she's talking to them comes in-between and tries to calm her down,
which causes Sharon to lash out him.. She soon leaves and finds
herself driving over to of all places, Brad's house. Letting herself
in, Sharon suddenly finds herself having a serious panic attack.

A Closer Look: Rising From the Ashes
Gloria gets a visit from Jeffrey, who tells her that he wants out of
his marriage. Gloria becomes furious telling him that he's once again
abandoning her, especially now that Michael has informed her that her
trial is approaching in a few days. Jeffrey, however, isn't interested
in Gloria's pleas to stick with her, going as far as to tell her that
he might just decide to take up with is former flame from Korea.
Feeling alone, Gloria decides that she has no other option but to be
truthful in why she tainted the Jabot face cream. As she is pouring
her heart out to Michael, he informs his mother that she wasn't
responsible for Emma Gibson's death after all; rather, she died of an
allergic reaction to something she ate. Things start to look up for
Gloria but when they arrive for their court proceedings, the judge
lets her know that her actions have consequences and he's ready to
make his decision right there and now.

I was sorry when I heard GH was writing out mobsters Trevor and Anthony.
Much as I understand complaints that the show is too mob-centric, I loved
the performances of actors Stephen Macht and Bruce Weitz. In the new
Digest, Weitz says he was glad he interrupted his retirement to play the
wacko Zacchara, and would be happy to do it again. "I wouldn't b.s. you. I
hope they do call, because I really had a ball," Weitz grinned. "If I
didn't, I would tell you. Believe me." I do! ... What you shouldn't
believe are rumors that Roscoe Born is returning to OLTL as evil Mitch.
But in Stuff We Know, Digest reports that a newcomer who failed to catch
fire with the audience will be saying goodbye. Check for more comings and

LYNN LEAHEY: Lynn Leahey: I was surprised to get a call at the Digest
office from Lilibet Stern, who I remember so well from her role as Y&R's
Patty back when the Abbotts were the newcomers in town. (You can find

all these years -- she's been through a couple of major career changes,
and got married for the second time last year. Turns out she wanted to
tell me (and Digest readers) about her latest calling, which is coaching
people to prepare for job interviews. "I've gotten every job I've ever
interviewed for," she told me, and shared some tips she offers clients.

DANIELLE MCCLURE: Sitting down with GL's Grant Aleksander (Phillip) for
the feature interview in the new issue (on page 46!) was a treat. I never
had the opportunity to meet the actor before he left the soap back in
2004, so I was thrilled to finally meet the man GL fans have been buzzing
about. Not surprisingly, Aleksander had lots to say about his dramatic
return to Springfield, including his thoughts on how diehard Phillip fans
will react to his stunning comeback. Here's a little sneak peek at what
Aleksander had to say: "Well, I hope that some people will tune in and
give the show a look that haven't in a while," he offers. "I do think that
a lot of great work is going into it and there's a lot of great stories.
There's a good feeling to the show right now. I know that CBS promoted
[the return], which does make a big difference. If they put money into
promoting that they're bringing in an old dinosaur back [laughs], then
that more than anything will probably help!" And what does he think about
seeing his own face on the small-screen again? "It looks older!" he grins.
"I stopped thinking about that part of it a while ago. It gets so much
easier once you're not a leading man anymore! The great thing about being
this age, you see a nice group of [fans] and say hi and take pictures, but
they're not all fevered anymore. They could still be fevered for the young
guys!" he laughs.

STEPHANIE SLOANE: Honestly, a person could get used to this! I have been
gifted again this week by the Steve and Kayla fans. Janae, Tami, Lori and
Madeline sent a fabulous Godiva basket with the note, "Even the finest
chocolates don't compare to Steve and Kayla. Bring back Stephen Nichols
and Mary Beth Evans to DAYS." Another fan who wants Nichols and Evans back
sent a small plant with yellow roses (Kayla's favorite). The note reads,
"Not even the most beautiful flowers could take the place of Steve &
Kayla's beautiful love story.... Without them there is no DOOL for me." I
thank you all from the bottom of my heart, but I worry that you're all
spending too much money to keep my office looking special!

VERA HADZI-ANTICH: We had many leftover Valentine's Day-themed campaigns
this week. GH's Jason and Elizabeth fans sent in heart-shaped Sweet Tarts
and chocolate conversation hearts with the message "Jason and Elizabeth
need a heart-to-heart conversation." Jasam fans had the same idea and
wrote "we want Jasam to be our Valentine." Johnny and Lulu fans sent in
Valentine's Day postcards with cute pics of the couple and a Happy
Valentine's Day message saying "they are magic together!" Even though
Natalia Livingston has only recently returned to GH in her new role as
Rebecca, fans are already lobbying for Sonny and Rebecca to be "GH's
newest, sexiest duo."

AMC's Zendall fans sent us pill bottles filled with heart-shaped Red Hots.
Written on the pill bottle is "Lovesick Patient -- Zach and Kendall Fans
-- May Not Substitute!" Aiden Turner (Aidan, AMC) fans sent in postcards
of the daytime hunk in a pink shirt and declared "Real Men stand up for
the ones they love ... save girlfriends from bomb shelters ... bring soul
mates back to life ... rescue hostages from Darfur ... wear pink!" Bianca
and Reese fans sent in "thank you" postcards for the February 17 cover of
Digest. "What a cover story," they write.

ATWT's received a lot of love this week. There were a few postcards with
people holding hands around the world and the message "fans around the
world love AS THE WORLD TURNS!" Carjack fans still hope that Carly and
Jack will be reunited in 2009 and Paul and Meg fans write that they "want
to see a happy family: Paul, Meg and Eliza!" The Luke and Noah fan
campaign is still going full-force with the "It's Time" campaign, and they
sent us a Happy Valentine's Day message too.
