FAMILY MESSES
As if all the activity around baby Jack didn't make for enough messy
relationships, Storm's ongoing pursuit of Ashley causes more ripples.
Taylor, Nick, Ridge and Brooke
With Taylor pleading Nick for one night with Jack, Rick steps in on
her behalf.
Nick overrules Brooke's objection when he allows Taylor to take Jack
home for the night.
Brooke is furious with Nick, who tells her she gave up any say she had
about Jack when she turned down his offer to raise Jack with him.
Rick vows to help Taylor get her son back.
Taylor refuses to give up Rick.
Rick and Taylor profess their love in front of Brooke, causing her to
meltdown.
Bridget tries to convince Ridge to marry Brooke as soon as possible so
that Bridget can move on with Nick.
Ridge confesses to Bridget that he plans on being very cautious before
marrying Brooke again.

Nick continues to add more Logans to his list of lovers this week on
BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL. This time it's Katie who pulls her sister and
niece's ex into a smooch. "There's definitely an attraction there, but
Katie's squashing it as much as she possible can," says Heather Tom

Sneak Peeks
It's a big week in Oakdale with the return of Mike Kasnoff, especially
for Katie. Imagine being at in Katie's shoes when at your own
engagement party, in walks Mike! Needless to say, she is blown away
when he makes an appearance. Why has he come back to Oakdale? Does it
have something to do with the farm? All we can say for sure is that
his return will lead Katie and Brad finally admit to their true
feelings for one another. Is this the romantic admission many have
been hoping for, or will Mike's arrival cause Katie to reconsider
everything?
While on the other side of town, Lily gets a package and as
unbelievable as it may seem, the package is from Dusty. When Lily
realizes that it is from Dusty, she breaks down. What has Dusty sent?
At the same time, Paul steps up and does something special for Meg. He
actual plays nice on Meg's behalf. But who is Meg trying to impress?
Will Paul's demeanor help?
The week winds down as Alison gives Chris a window into her world.

Rick is truly proving to be a Godsend for Taylor. This week, she
brings Jack home, and it's all thanks to Rick. Shortly thereafter,
Brooke melts down as Taylor and Rick profess their love for one
another in front of her. It's obvious the two are committed, but will
Brooke leave well enough alone? Well, you know Brooke. It's not long
before Brooke and Taylor face off. Any ideas as to what the
confrontation is about? We're betting it's over Rick and Baby Jack.
Which woman will get the upper hand this time?
On the other side of the city, Ridge is not satisfied with Storm's
performance. In fact, he's patience has all but worn thin. Will he
fire Storm? Speaking of Brooke's brother, she decides she's in need of
assistance and she goes to him for help. Will he agree to do her bidding?
While in some romantic developments, Katie surprises herself, and Nick
when she acts impulsively. What does she do? Kiss him? You'll have to

But Olivia is having a difficult time accepting the events of the last
few days. It's no wonder that Natalia rails at Olivia for her
ungratefulness. Will Olivia come around?
While on the other side of Springfield, Ava fears the jig is up when
Bill demands a pregnancy test. Will he finally find out that she has
been lying all along? Or could she possibly be pregnant afterall? Hey
it could happen. It's a soap! If it does, don't say we didn't tell
ya so.
Speaking of trying to pull the wool over someone's eyes, Reva finally
smartens up. She puts two-and-two together and confronts Dinah on her
scam. Will Dinah be forthcoming or continue to work her scheme?
Meanwhile, Harley is doing her best to deal with Gus' death. Knowing
just how fragile she is, Daisy and Cyrus play nice on Harley's behalf.
Will their behavior help her feel any better? We don't know for sure,
but we can share this. Before the week is out, the Coopers will come
together to help Harley finish her house. That's what Gus would have
wanted. How will Harley deal with the gesture? You'll find out when

They've been off gallivanting in Los Angeles and this week, Victor and
Sabrina return from their romantic trip. Did the trip do them good?

try to rein Adam in, especially when Nick becomes annoyed with Adam's

despite herself, or is she really beginning to feel something for Jeffrey?
While on the other side of Genoa City, Lily gets shocking news. What

love soon end?
THIS WEEK ON:AS THE WORLDS TURNS
Lily crumbles when she receives a package full of mementos that were
from Dusty. Holden immediately comes to her side to offer his comfort.
Luke informs his parents that Noah and Ameera have moved into the
cottage. Emily continues to be a thorn in Alison's side, telling her
that Chris would never like her if he knew about her past. Alison
meets Chris and hands him a copy of her video; afterwards, it's Chris
that asks Alison if she'd like to go out with him. Carly and Jack
share a passionate kiss, but they later get into another discussion
about his unresolved feelings for Katie.
AN ENGAGEMENT PUT TO THE TEST...
Mike's arrival back in Oakdale sets off Paul's jealous side when Mike
and Meg have a bonding moment. When Mike tells both of them that he's
thinking about leaving town, it's Paul that convinces him to stay put.
Meg later tells Mike that if he wants to feel happy back in Oakdale,
it's time for him to come face-to-face with Katie to gain closure.
Meanwhile, Brad sets Katie off when he publically announces their
engagement on television. Margo has her on thoughts regarding the true
reason why Katie said yes to Brad, telling Tom that he's strictly
rebound because of her feelings for Jack. When she learns of their
plans to elope, Margo sets off to put a stop to it.
Carly is stunned to see that Mike is back in town but assumes he's
there to get Katie back. She tells Mike that Katie is now engaged to
Brad and that if he wants her back, he should fight for her. Katie
meets up with Margo and is upset when Margo tells her that she won't
give her blessing. Brad and Katie both try to convince her why they
truly want to be together. Margo later plans a party for the couple
but learns that the only people that will be able to attend are Katie,
Brad, Jack and Carly. As the party is underway, Mike shows up, seeing
Katie again for the first time.

THIS WEEK ON:GUIDING LIGHT
As everyone continues to honor Gus's memory, Cyrus learns that
Harley's credit card isn't able to pay for the funeral expenses. Alan
comes to Harley's house and Rafe extends himself to him. Sam and Ava
try their best to get Olivia out of her depressed state. Olivia admits
that she is unable to accept that Gus is gone. When Daisy runs into
Sam, he gives her advice on how to stop doing things for Rafe and
start doing things for herself. Natalia is angered by the fact that
Olivia can't accept Gus's gift of life. Remy tries to get Rafe to
unleash his anger over Gus's death in the boxing ring. Reva discovers
that Dinah was the one that brought Alan down and requests the two be
partners.
BED OF LIES AND DECEIT...
In an effort to get Harley out of serious debt, Cyrus corners Daisy,
insisting she make him a partner in her fake ID scam. She quickly
lashes out at him saying that Harley will never see him the way the
she sees Gus. Mallet continues to show his discomfort with the fact
that Dinah owns the Spaulding mansion. When he starts to investigate
Philip's whereabouts, Dinah panics and recruits Remy to help her out.
Remy says he'll only help her if she pays him and gives him a room in
the mansion. The two concoct a 'good-bye' letter, which Mallet calls
Jeffrey about. As the two are talking, Reva overhears. Dinah quickly
hired on Matt to re-decorate the entire mansion as her very own.
As Bill and Lizzie get closer, Bill confronts Ava about her pregnancy,
requesting she come to him with proof. Bill sends Ava into the
bathroom with a pregnancy kit. Ava immediately panics until she
notices a pregnant lady there with her. When she returns, she tells

'Is Ashley In Danger' article - Brooke decides to get rid of the
competition by pushing Ashley towards Storm. But in doing so, will
Brooke push her romantic rival directly into the arms of someone
unbalanced? Storm becomes somewhat possessive and a tad obsessed when
Ridge objects to their involvement. Could Ashley be at risk or is
Ridge overreacting?
B&B might be looking to recast Thomas, a very specific casting call
was put out.
Can Brooke Quit Waffling?
Brooke has a lot of love in her heart to go around. Unfortunately,
social edicts and plain common sense demand that she choose only one
man on which to bequeath her romantic largesse. And therein lies the
problem. She claims to be committed to Ridge, but continues to feel
extremely tempted by her feelings for Nick. Now that her daughter,
Bridget, has thrown her hat back into the ring for the sexy seafarer's
heart, the blonde businesswoman feels more conflicted than ever. She's
vowed never to hurt Bridget again, but will lust win out over loyalty?
In recent days, Brooke has insisted that her heart lies with Ridge
(despite practically salivating over Nick every time they're in the
same room together). Yet whether she'll ride off into the sunset with
the designer or sail off into the sunset with Nick still remains to be
seen. "I never try to look into the future and figure out what's going
to happen with the storyline," admits KKL. "I just kind of go with it
and never expect anything."
Nevertheless, the actress admits that her ego's uncanny ability to
feel equal attraction for two men at once appears to be leading her
not towards the altar but toward full-on disaster. "I think it's
possible to be in love with two people at once," Lang muses. "but I
definitely wouldn't say it's a happy way to live life!"
"It's hard for Brooke," the actress adds with a laugh. "She has so
much love to give that she wants to give it to everybody!"
Until scientists come up with a way for Brooke to clone herself, this
indecisiveness with regard to the men in her life will continue
unabated. Has the time come for her to make a decision with a coin
toss, or will one of Brooke's long-suffering suitors finally bow out
gracefully?

Katie Kisses Nick!
Katie kisses Nick this week, adding one more lusty Logan for Mr.
Marone to choose from.
"Nick's charmed by her, and she's intrigued by him, but it's not
black-and-white," sets up Heather Tom. "Katie wants Bridget to be
happy. If Bridget can find that happiness with Nick, then she wants to
encourage that."
But Katie's probing of Nick's feelings for her niece takes them down a
dangerous road. "Their banter is very fast," explains Tom. "Katie is
constantly challenging him, which throws him off guard. Then he
challenges her right back, which throws her off guard. They're in one
of these sessions, going back and forth when he challenges her to act
on impulse."
It's not exactly Katie's forte, but "she does something that really
shocks her - and him - and lays a big one on him!" gasps Tom.
The kiss surprises both parties, but no one more than Katie herself.
"She freaks out," affirms Tom. "So many daytime characters are
impulsive and fly by the seat of their pants - I've definitely played
several of those - but Katie's not like that. She's very logical.
She's not one to act on impulse and jump into situations without
thinking of the ramifications. So, when she kisses Nick, she violates
her personal code and it throws her for a loop."
She's further thrown when Bridget pops by and Nick isn't quite through
discussing their clinch. "There's definitely an attraction there, but
Katie's squashing it as much as she possibly can," insists Tom. "She
loves Bridger and truly wants her to be happy. She thinks Bridget and
Nick is a good idea but in the middle of that, she's like, 'Wow, I'm
attracted to him.'"
A horrified Katie makes herself scarce, but eavesdrops on Bridget and
Nick as they hash out the awkward U-Turn their romance has taken.
Suspicious Bridget even wonders if Nick has found somebody new. "When
she hears them talking about another woman, she's so racked with
guilt," bemoans Tom. "She just can't deal with it. It's making her
nauseous. Katie actually makes herself sick."
Sick enough to come clean? "Bridget doesn't have to catch her at
anything. Katie's already caught herself and is punishing herself
worse than anything Bridget could ever do. But at the same time, Katie
also realizes that Nick might mean more to her than she thought. A
lightbulb went off."

Rest of this week - Reva is amused to see Jeffrey's wedding
announcement in the paper. Reva later visits Olivia who still doesn't
know Gus is dead. She's shocked to find out she has Gus's heart.
'Reva Learns Dinah's Plan' preview article - Reva figures out Dinah
has been posing as Phillip and she wants in on bringing the Spaulding
empire down for good. Dinah gets Remy's help to convince everyone
Phillip left Springfield after Mallet says he is on Phillip's tail.
They write a good-bye letter posing as Phillip. Later, Reva overhears
Jeffrey talking about the note and surmises that Dinah is involved.
"How does Reva figure that out?" grins Gina Tognoni. "She has a
picture of Dinah working with Remy." Reva confronts Dinah and doesn't
turn her in. Gina says that Alan cost Reva her kid and granddaughter
and she wants to bring Alan down further. Does Dinah take the bait?
"Historically they don't do business together," teases Tognoni.
"Reva's fair too ethical! It's like mixing oil and water. Dinah's
agenda is about keeping her business within the family."
Crystal Chappell is asked if Olivia has feelings for Jeffrey. She
says, "She doesn't love him. There's an understanding between them."
She says she doesn't get the sense there's anything romantic at this
point.

'Someone's In The Caper with Dinah' preview article - "Reva wants to
get involved in the action!" chortles Gina Tognoni. Same little
summary as SOD about Dinah/Remy. Reva overhears Jeffrey talking about
the letter, and notices a photo of Dinah handing Remy a letter. Reva
wants a cut of the action, Dinah wants to keep it in the family. To
get closer to the enemy, Reva asks Alan for a job. When he turns her
down, she reconsiders her involvement and decides she can't be
bothered with Dinah's shenanigans. "Historically, Dinah doesn't do
business with Reva and Reva doesn't do business with Dinah, " Tognoni
reminds. Reva promises not to rat on Dinah.

on Cyrus, saying he'll never replace Gus. Looking at a photo of Gus,
Olivia says she doesn't want his heart she wants him. Natalia can't
handle how ungrateful Olivia is for the heart. Jeffrey talks to the
judge about getting an annulment. Lizzie tells Bill just how much she

reluctantly agrees but tells her he is fed up with her and he wants

Engagement fete 'Turns' sticky when ex arrives

Margo throws Katie and Brad an engagement party next week on "As the
World Turns," which leads to a series of events that could wreck the
wedding.
"Mike shows up at the engagement party," says Austin Peck, who plays Brad.
Mike is Katie's ex-husband, who just came back to town. But Mike is
now being played by a new actor (Jon Prescott), so viewers can be
forgiven if they don't feel the full impact of his return when he
crashes the party.
"Brad is totally cool when Mike shows up," says Peck. "He's like, 'Big
deal.' But Henry fills his mind with all this doubt and that makes
Brad want to rush the wedding."
Brad starts planning the ceremony and asks Henry to be his best man.
When Katie starts spending time with the newly returned Mike, Brad
presses her to do so. But Katie also wants Henry to be her "male of
honor," so Jack steps up and tells Katie he'll be Brad's best
man.%A0Meanwhile, Brad asks Mike to be his best man to prove to Katie
that he's not threatened by her ex.
"Mike says 'Okay,' I'm sure out of curiosity and wanting to watch the
train wreck," says Peck. "But Katie also asks Jack to do it. So all of
a sudden, both of them show up as best men. It's just so silly."
Especially when you stop to consider that Katie has been married to
all of the people now in the wedding party.
"The ceremony is hysterical," says Peck. "We were allowed to play the
irony, so we're on the same page with the audience. 'Okay, let's see
how this is gonna work out!' We're allowed to look at the situation
for what it really is and play that, instead of pretending like this
is a completely normal thing."
Because there's nothing normal about it.
"Everything happens very fast," says Peck. "I have to take my hat off
to the writers because there are moments that are drawn out, like the
relationship and the building of the love and the trust between Brad
and Katie, and then there are moments that come boom-boom-boom fast."
Like the constant bickering between the bride and groom right up to
the wedding, which will all be televised live on their TV station, WOAK.
"Brad's like, 'Do you know how frustrating you are? I want you to
admit you love me as much as I love you.'"
Which hopefully will happen before they say their "I do's."
"What happens at the end of the wedding," says Peck, "is wonderfully
surprising."

effort to control his jealousy and is a gracious host to Mike. Paul
has trouble answering the zoning board's questions. Mike arrives and
saves the day. Carly is thrilled to hear that Katie and Brad are
engaged. As Tom and Margo prepare for the party, they find out that
some of the invited guests won't be coming. Crossing names off the
guest list, Margo realizes that only Katie, Brad, Jack and Carly will
be attending. Carly doesn't believe Jack is over Katie. To prove it,
Jack begins to make love to Carly. Jack insists he doesn't want to
move out, for the kids' sake, but doesn't want to be with Carly,
either. Jack finds Carly at home and apologizes, but she cuts him off,
insisting he can stay but she's giving up on them. Mike confides to
Katie he can't quite accept she's engaged. Katie insists Mike's
treatment of her with the divorce gave her plenty of closure. Ameera
moves into Lucinda's cottage. Alison gives Chris a copy of her porn video.

YOUNG AND RESTLESS -- David pushes Nikki to set a date for their
wedding, but Nikki is still unsure about David's gambling addiction --
and continues to put David off. Brad hires a bookie to tempt David to
gamble. The bookie calls Brad to inform Brad that David HAS placed a bet.
Jeff tries to convince Kyon that they are finished. Kyon locks Gloria in
the wine cellar. Alistair finds Gloria, only to end up locked in the wine
cellar with her. Alistair tells Gloria what he saw between Jeff and Kyon.
Alistair tempts Gloria to tell him everything about what is going on
between Gloria and Jeff. Lily tells Cane that she is pregnant. Daniel
tries to convince Amber that their relationship is serious. Victor and
Sabrina hit the sheets. Neil helps Karen unpack her things as she moves
into Neil's apartment. Still uneasy about Adam, J.T. suggests doing a
background check for Victoria. Jack is served with a $2 million lawsuit
from Michael. Sharon is stunned when Jack buys a house before Sharon sees
it. Michael gives Victor the paperwork to start the art foundation, as
well as to work on something for Adam. Nick and Victoria discuss Adam and
decide that Adam is out to take everything they have.
FRIDAY, APRIL 11, 2008 -- SUMMARY OF THE WEEK'S EVENTS
Y&R -- After returning from their romantic trip to Los Angeles, Victor
and Sabrina hit the sheets. Gloria finally gives in to Jeff's advances,
only to be interrupted by Jeff's very angry Korean girlfriend, Kyon. Lily
receives shocking news which COULD destroy her modeling career. Nick
becomes annoyed with Adam's flirtatious actions whenever Adam is around
Phyllis. Michael serves Jack with lawsuit papers, but Jack is determined
to beat Michael at his own game.
LILY DISCOVERS THAT SHE IS EXPECTING -- When Lily continues to eat
little and appears lethargic, Cane asks if she might be pregnant. Lily
insists that there is NO possibility of a pregnancy, because they used
protection. After Cane reassures Lily of his support, Lily decides to
take a pregnancy test. After Lily picks up the test, she takes it back to
the dorm, where she runs into Devon. Devon immediately begins to hassle
Lily about working too hard and Lily argues back. However, in the middle
of the argument, Lily becomes ill and rushes off to the lady's room. When
Lily leaves, Devon picks up Lily's purse and spots the pregnancy test.
However, when Lily returns, Devon says nothing about his discovery. Lily
is stunned when the test turns up a positive result. Lily finds Cane and
lets Cane know what she has learned. Cane again reassures Lily of his
support, but Lily insists that she needs some time to think before making
any decisions about her future. Lily stops by the dance studio where Dru
used to go and has a chat with one of Dru's old friends. Later, Lily
confides her news to Colleen. Colleen urges Lily to let Neil know right
away, but Lily is not so sure that the time is right for Neil to know.
While Lily is mulling over her decision, Chloe calls and advises Lily that
she is needed at Jabot as soon as possible. Lily immediately worries that
Jill has somehow learned about Lily's condition - and plans to dismiss
Lily from the 'Fresh Face of Jabot' publicity campaign.
GLORIA KICKS JEFF OUT OF ABBOTT MANSION - BUT JEFF THREATENS TO REVEAL
GLORIA'S SECRET TO THE WORLD -- At Abbott Mansion, as Jeff and Gloria as
beginning to get cozy together, they are interrupted when Jeff's Korean
girlfriend, Kyon, bursts in on them. After a lot o shouting, Kyon
promises to tell Gloria ALL about Jeffrey - and hustles Gloria on down to
the wine cellar so Gloria and Kyon can celebrate learning the truth.
However, when they get downstairs, Kyon shoves Gloria inside the wine
cellar, slams the door, then heads back upstairs to 'discuss' their
relationship with Jeff. However, Alistair arrives and is spotted by Kyon.
Kyon begins shouting at Alistair and shoves him out the door. However,
Alistair spots Gloria's purse and realizes that Gloria IS at the mansion.
Suspecting that Gloria could be in trouble, Alistair finds another
entrance and sneaks in again. As he creeps around - Alistair spots Jeff,
getting coy with Kyon. After locating Gloria's jacket, Alistair grabs the
house keys from the jacket pocket, then begins exploring the mansion, in
search of Gloria. Of course, the room in the mansion which would draw
Alistair like a magnet would be the wine cellar. When he arrives,
Alistair can hear Gloria, calling for help. Alistair manages to pick the
lock and open the door to the wine cellar. However, after Alistair
enters the wine cellar, the door slams behind him and he is locked in with
Gloria - AND all of that fine wine! While they are locked in, Alistair
fills Gloria in on all of the lurid details about Jef's cozy 'discussions'
with Kyon. Gloria is desperate to get out so she can 'rescue' Jeff - but
Alistair assures Gloria that Jef is NOT worthy of her concern. Eventually
Alistair and Gloria manage to open the wine cellar door once again - and
race upstairs. Once Gloria gets a good look at Jeff and Kyon's coziness,
Gloria tosses BOTH Jeff AND Kyon out of the house. Jeff threatens to blab
to the world everything he knows about Gloria's secret. Gloria is so fed
up that she retorts that she no longer cares - she would RATHER be in
prison than with Jeff. After Jeff leaves, Alistair finds himself in a
predicament. Alistair has already taken money from Jill and Kay in order
to learn WHAT secret Gloria is hiding which Jeff has been holding over
Gloria's head - and report what he learns back to Jill and Kay. Since
Alistair is ALWAYS in need of ready cash - Alistair is torn between the
desire to collect his reward from Jill and Kay - and his desire to become
Gloria's white knight and rescue Gloria from her present predicament.

former dance teacher, who turns up on April 17 with some advice for Lily.
FRIDAY, APRIL 18, 2008 -- SUMMARY OF THE WEEK'S EVENTS
Y&R -- Victoria learns the shocking truth about Victor's affair with
Sabrina. gloria surprises everyone when she GIVES UP ownership of the
Abbott Mansion! Jack realizes that his visits from John have suddenly
ended. YOUNG AND RESTLESS has a casting call out or Dorothy - which was
the name o Heather's grandmother. Both Estelle and Dorothy are roles
which were previously played by MELINDA CORDELL.
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2008
Y&R -- Now that TAMMY LAUREN has officially announced that she IS on the
way out at Y&R - there has been speculation that Paul's daughter, Heather,

Secret Talents of the Stars, a CBS reality competition launching
Tuesday and pitting assorted interestingly abled celebs against each
other. In the April 15 outing, Morrow will perform an "edgy
rock-and-roll" act with extreme juggling pro Marcus Monroe. His
competish for the night: Girl Next Door Bridget Marquardt
(performing... um, on a trapeze), country crooner Jo Dee Messina
(dancing hip-hop) and boxing champ Roy Jones Jr (rapping).

went through a rough patch. "I was unhappy," he admits. "My character was
going nowhere." But he's not on the way out. Instead, he's been assured
Jerry is headed in an exciting new direction, and he's looking forward to
playing it. "If it continues staying interesting," he tells Digest in the

TALES FROM THE INTERVIEW
Devins Owens: A lot of Y&R fans are eating up Gloria and Jeff. This
offbeat pair is definitely not your garden-variety soap couple and in the
new issue of Digest, you'll see in my Q&A interview with their portrayers
Judith Chapman and Ted Shackelford, that they're having a grand ol' time
in their scenes together. Since both actors unabashedly praise each other
to the high heavens, I asked if they ever socialize off the set. Ted
immediately answered no, affirming that he is a diehard "homebody." But
Judith came up with the perfect off-duty activity for them and their
spouses. "My husband James and I have a German Shepard and Ted has two of
them and he does this thing where he trains dogs in Schutzhund. It's a
German name for protection dog and I would love to watch him do that
first-hand. It would be fascinating and I think James would get a big kick
out of that too. And then we would all go out and have a fabulous lunch!"
Naomi Rabinowitz: Given how insane Vincent is on PASSIONS, I wasn't sure
what to expect when interviewing his portrayer Phillip Jeanmarie for the
new issue. However, the actor had a good sense of humor about playing a
dual-gendered serial killer, who's pregnant with his father's child (got
that?). "What's surprised me the most is how nice the fans have been," he
reveals. "Sometimes you don't get that when you're the bad guy, but
they'll still come up to me and compliment my work." He's also enjoyed
working with TV parents Tracey Ross (Eve) and Ben Masters (Julian).
"They're both great actors and know the ropes, so I'm glad I'm in their
storyline," he says. "But really, everyone on the show's been great in
showing me the ropes and helping me fit in."
So, how does his mother feel about her son's unusual alter ego? "She still
watches regularly," he laughs. "She supports me, no matter what."
Tom Stacy: Here's an interesting little tidbit that didn't make it into
our Focus On ... GH's Brandon Barash (Johnny). Yes, that really is Barash
playing the piano as GH's conflicted, young mob boss-in-the-making. "When
I spoke with Bob [Guza, head writer] and Elizabeth [Korte, associate head
writer] and Jill [Farren Phelps, executive producer] when I booked the
role, music wasn't discussed. I don't know how Jill found out that I
played. I don't know if I dropped it in a conversation or what, but there
was one day when we were taping at Wyndemere [during the Black And White
Ball] and we were on a break and I was playing around with the keys on the
piano. When she did find out, she asked if I'd be okay playing on TV and I
saw that as another layer to Johnny. It's like [Jack] Nicholson's
character in Five Easy Pieces ? madman by day who goes home to play a
concerto at night." Cute story, huh? But the best part is, Barash took
piano lessons from ages 6 to 10, then quit to focus on baseball and
basketball. When he did, his dad told him that someday he'd regret giving
up the piano so once Barash got to college, he, "Had a couple free units
one semester so I took a piano class, figuring if I'm getting graded on
it, then I'll learn it." He did, and we know that Lulu's glad he did, too.

shipped off to some kind of juvenile rehabilitation center, was the
adopted son of Cassie and Richard while they were married and living in
San Cristobel. In 2001, she adopted the boy from Alonzo and Camille
Baptiste, but later decided to let Will stay on the island with Alonzo,
who took the thrown from his late brother, Richard. Will murdered his
