Verizon Fios offer vs Optimum - - Price vs Value   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #65235 of 68204 |
So today this lady came to my house with a promo. Let me know what you
guys think of the price vs value (as opposed to optimum of course) our
contract with optimum just ran out and the deal they gave us for
renewing is not that great so i am leaning towards going with Fios,
anyway here is the deal:

Fios triple play:

Internet 20/5
router
3 HD Boxes
HBO/Cinemax/Starz/Showtime
Price is for life (as long as we renew every year)
World call 300minutes
$35 off for three consecutive months
$30 activation
----------
$123/month

As opposed to this from optimum:

1 SD Box
HBO+on demand
boost
world call
----------
$150

A no-brainer or what's the catch here??

** Your answers/suggestions would be much appreciated guys! Thanks!

Looks good on the surface... Is the 123 per month AFTER the 35 off? Or is it 88 bucks for the first three months? And is that 123 or 123 before "fees" ? Extra...

For TV, they are better, but for internet and phone, Optimum beats them hands down. I have a HUGE bandwidth with boost, plus my own website and server. And...
