Hello fellow Browncoat Cruisers,
Time for a brief progress report for Browncoat Cruise 2007. Though there hasn't
been
much public news, we wanted to let you all know there is a lot going on behind
the
scenes. We continue to organize our activities & shore excursions, process
orders and
changes, make arrangements and work on finding ways to get more VIP guests on
board.
Within the next two weeks you can expect the following from us:
- A detailed Browncoat Cruise newsletter/update, including a report from our
insider who
attended Slayer Cruise, and a report from our travel agent who attended the
maiden
voyage of our ship The Elation as it transitioned to our very destinations for
the first time
(sneak preview, he was very impressed with the ship, its staff and the
destinations), and
much more.
- A major refresh of our website.
- Cruise Tracker v1.0 (hopefully)
- All new FAQ information and more.
In case you've missed the news reports, the Department of State has been
overwhelmed
this year, and passport processing is taking a considerable time, so if you
don't have yours
yet, get your application in soon! However, due to a very probable extension on
the
passport requirement for Mexico cruises, Browncoat Cruise has officially changed
our
policy from requiring a passport to strongly recommending one. If you are
unable to get
your passport in time, you will be allowed to board with a photo ID and birth
certificate.
However should you miss the boat or need to return home early while in Mexico,
you may
find it difficult because a passport will be required on the airlines.
Once again, we are very excited to be putting on this event. Only five months
and counting
until we set sail!
Thanks again for joining us for Browncoat Cruise and welcome aboard,
