Welcome to Better Buffy Slash.

This is a list for recommending, discussing, and ultimately archiving quality slash fiction based within the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel (the series). Our aim is to distill the best slash around through a process of rec'ing and seconding, then archiving/linking to the fic. Ultimately ending up, we hope, with an excellent resource for slash lovers.

This is not a list to post fiction on, only to rec the fiction of others. We don't have many rules, but members who persist in ignoring those few we do have will be removed. Despite this necessary firmness, we are basically a friendly bunch and welcome new members.

There is an excellent and popular Yahoo list that has recently celebrated its third anniversary -- Better Buffy Fics. Better Buffy Slash, while it is in no way connected to Better Buffy Fics, is certainly influenced by it. BBS is not intended to detract or replace BBF in any way, simply to distill for those with specific tastes.

Though no actual fiction is posted here, it is often quoted, and the list will discuss adult topics -- thus, an age-statement will be requested before new members are approved. You can either

a) state that you are of age and understand the purpose of the list in a note when you sign up for the group through the Yahoo interface, or

b) you can sign up, then send an e-mail to betterbuffyslash-owner@yahoogroups.com, stating that you are of age and understand the purpose of the list or

Once one of those conditions has been fulfilled, your membership will be approved.
