I was never a fan of Hatch's novels, primarily because he is almost as guilty as
RM of discarding the first series. His continuity with all but SSW is terrible.
If you are going to do a continuation, do a continuation from the end of the
series...

It would be awesome but I think we are fooling ourselves now. Baltar (most
awesome evil laugh ever) is dead, so is Adama (their portrayers I mean).
