Sherry, in answer to your question, in the original series, the Colonials never
made it to Earth. They had in the sequal series, Galactica 1980, but no one
counts it at all, except for maybe the last episode. So the Earth did not get
nuked.

Robb, there are several members here who have been watching the new series from
the start of it. I am not one of them.

Hey Robb, I can barely remember the show being on tv originally. My friend says
that it ended with the entire fleet destroyed and Earth nuked. Is that true?
