"The Ring Of Wax" (prod. #8725-Pt. 1) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC as
the 23rd episode of Batman.

Based on "A Hairpin, A Hoe, A Hacksaw, A Hole in the Ground!" from Batman #53
(July 1949) by Bill Finger.

Linda Gaye Scott (Moth) is the heiress to the Scott paper company.

MARCH 31, 1966

"Give 'Em The Axe" (prod. #8725-Pt. 2) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC as
the 24th episode of Batman.

These segments apparently took place before Mayor Lindseed's election, as a
different mayor is in office in these episodes.

Joey Tata, who played Tallow, went on to become best known for playing the
character, Nat, the owner of The Peach Pit on Beverly Hills 90210 (Fox,
1990-2000), where he was billed as Joe E. Tata.

MARCH 29, 1967

"Ice Spy" (prod. #9759-Pt. 1) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC as the 93rd
episode of Batman.

Elisha Cook Jr. (Prof. Isaac Isaacson) portrayed Wilmer Cook, The Gunsel in the
1941 Warner Bros. film The Maltese Falcon.

MARCH 30, 1967

"The Duo Defy" (prod. #9759-Pt. 2) first aired @ 7:30 p.m. (EST) on ABC as the
94th episode of Batman.

This episode wrapped up a rather hectic and lengthy (60 episodes!!!!!!) second
season for Batman. It also retained the third and final appearance of Mr. Freeze
in the series (played this time by Eli Wallach).

The series' final Batclimb featured Carpet King, a cameo earned supposedly for
selling producer Bill Dozier some Persian rugs.

The episode edits footage from the 1966 Batman movie of The Dynamic Duo flying
in The Batcopter.

Commisioner Gordon once more gives mention of his daughter, Barbara, in this
episode. Although she debuted in the comics a few months before ("The Million
Dollar Debut Of Batgirl" in Detective Comics #359, January 1967), she had yet to
debut on the TV series.
