Just had the brainwave (it takes a while for my brain to get in
gear...20 years it's taken! ;)) to make the group restricted

an email tvrecordings sent out the other day about Dave's new radio 4
show...

Avalon is proud to announce a new radio series, `HERESY', for BBC
Radio 4.

Devised and presented by David Baddiel (star of Baddiel & Skinner
Unplanned and Fantasy Football) this is the one debate programme
which
dares to commit heresy.

Certain things are instinctively held to be true in modern society,
irrespective of whether there is evidence to support them. "Most
athletes take drugs", for example. Or "All policeman are racist". Or
"Sven Goran Erikkson is going to Chelsea".

These opinions are universal – but are they accurate? Received
opinions can damage your health, particularly if you are the victim
of
their slanderous certainty.

Writer and comedian Armando Iannucci, journalists Vicky Coren and
Peter Bradshaw, and actor and comedian David Walliams challenge some
of the most entrenched opinions of 2003 such as:

• The Atkins diet is dangerous.
• Footballers are out of control
• David Blaine's starvation was a magician's trick.
• Celebrities like Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones
have no right to privacy.
• The Royal Family can't survive any more scandals.

We are looking for a studio audience who will be invited to join in
the debate and will ultimately vote to decide if the heretics should
be burned at the stake. The recording of Show 1 will take place in
London W1 on the evening of Friday December 12th, 2003.

:) sounds like it's going to be good!! :OD Won't be able to go to a
recording tho!! Went to see the Frank Skinner Show last night - that
was really funny, lots of fun! :OD And it's not every day you see the
england rugby world cup!! :OD (And Frank obviously...unless u stalk
him like me ;) lol! *joke*)

Anyway hopefully someone'll post soon-ish, put me out of my
