It's a walk down memory lane this week as mothers, daughters and sisters all contemplate the lives that they've led. But there's not much sisterly love going on between Pam and Stephanie, as they find themselves at odds with each other when their roles inexplicably reverse.

Maybe Stephanie will cheer up when her ex, Eric, pays her a visit and they do some reminiscing. However, Eric is on the hot seat, and Stephanie becomes uneasy, when their children pressure them to reconcile. Will remembering the good times prove beneficial?

While "The Catwalk" is doing great things for Donna's success, it's causing problems for her relationship with Eric. Bill stuns her by mandating that she make a difficult choice. Will she be prepared for the consequences? Stay tuned to The Bold and the Beautiful this week to find out.

This week, Stephanie is in need of solace.  "Her visit with her mom has brought up some old feelings and conflicts," explains John McCook (Eric).  "She needs her ex-husband and their kids for a little bit.  That's when they observe Mom and Dad being warm with each other, so they pressure them to reconcile."

Stephanie heads to the Big Bear cabin, while Eric heads out to meet Donna.  "They have a date set up, but she calls to cancel because she has to tape another show of THE CATWALK," McCook huffs.

Eric decides to battle his loneliness by showing up at the cabin.  "Stephanie is surprised to see him," chuckles McCook.  "He basically says, `Look, I know you want to be alone, but shut up, sit down and I'll make some martinis.'  They don't really reminisce about the past.  They talk about now and how things are going for them.  She's happy at Jackie M and he doesn't have that at Forrester Creations.  They still have a nice time together."

Could their kids get that wish after all?

Kitty has finally gotten her new computer!!  And NO ONE is gonna touch it lol! 
I am praying that this laptop will last and not give me the headaches I have had

It seems everyone on B&B is looking to turn over anew leaf in November, but will the big changes in store for many characters bring about happy days or hell on Earth? Executive producer and headwriter Bradley Bell drops some clues!

WILL THEY OR WON'T THEY?

A sentimental Katie has special plans for her impending wedding to Bill, but family trouble – among other things (and people!) – will threaten to spoil the bride's big day!  "This wedding will be different from any other, ever, on B&B," teases the exec.  "Will they make it to the altar?"

BABY BOOM FOR BRIDGET!

Sandy Sommers seems like the answer to Nick and Bridget's desperate prayers when she enters their lives as a potential surrogate mother.  "Will she be a force for good or ill for our special couple, and does Whip hold the secret to Sandy's past?" questions Bell.

DONNA'S NEW GIG… AND MAN?

As the host of a new talk show called THE CATWALK, Donna is thrilled with her career trajectory – except for one pesky detail. "She's not so thrilled that her co-host will be Pam," Bell chuckles, adding that job pressure isn't the only thing affecting Donna as her ex makes a play to win her back!  "Will she succumb to the very real temptation to create the little family that she, Justin and Marcus were never able to have?"

TAYLOR DATES AGAIN!

At Steffy's urging, Taylor will try her hand at Internet dating, only to find a spark with a familiar face.  "The connection with another lonely heart from our canvas will lead to fun and very possibly, to Taylor's next romance!" says Bell.

This week finds Katie in a much better mood – she believes Bill isn't carrying out his father's vendetta against Forrester Creations and now Brooke is coming around to the idea of the company becoming part of Spencer Communications.  "Brooke starts to see the logic of Bill taking over," says Heather Tom (Katie). "She knows the company is going down and needs rescuing.  Katie makes a pact by saying, `Listen, I'm going to be loyal to you above all else.  You're all going to stay on board and it's going to be business as usual, except Bill is going to own it.'  Of course, that's going to be the thorn in everyone's side."

However, Bill makes Katie's personal situation a lot rosier. "He cooks this romantic dinner for her and during the course of the evening, he proposes," smiles Tom.  "Katie is shocked because she had no idea this was even on Bill's mind."

Is it just another step in his master plan for taking over Forrester?  "Katie isn't thinking about that," notes Tom.  "She's never felt like this in her whole life. She's in deep and I don't think she can walk away."

Brown Swaps GH for B&B

 Hot on the heels of Sarah Brown's announcement that she'll be vacating the role of GH Mafia princess Claudia after nearly two years comes word that the three-time Emmy winner has joined the cast of B&B in the newly created role of Sandy Sommers.  "Everything happened very quickly," says the actress.

It all began with a phone call.  She explains, "Brad Bell [executive producer/head writer] is an amazing man.  He had heard that my time at GH had come to an end and he immediately reached out.  He picked up the phone and asked if I'd be interested. I said, `Absolutely.' He gave me the short rundown about B&B and the specific character he had in mind that I thought it sounded right up my alley."

Brown acknowledges that the move happened so quickly, she ended up taping both shows simultaneously.  "It got a little tricky trying to work it out because the air dates were going to be very close together," she nods.  "But GENERAL HOSPITAL was very generous.  I started B&B last week and I'm completely my work on GH this week.  It's a little nutty, but it's okay.  It's much better to be busy than to have nothing to do."

As for Sandy, Brown reveals, "She's a very different character [than Claudia].  I don't now a tremendous amount about her at the moment. I haven't had the chance to delve in for more than just one day,and I worked by myself [laughs]. But there are no similarities I see at this point.  She's not in the Mafia.  She's a normal girl.  She's not wealthy.  She has a lot of issues when we first meet her."

AS for her impending exit from GH, Brown teases, "It's compelling.  It's going to be very exciting.  It's scary. I think it will take the audience on an exciting journey and it ends in the most unexpected way.  There are a lot of `Holy cow!' moments.  It's a good wrap-up."

Brown looks forward to moving forward, where she'll reunite with recent GH transplant Rick Hearst(Whip; ex-Ric, GH).  "I do know some of the cast members of B&B, as well as Y&R [which tapes across the hall].  I was trained to jump around and play different characters, so it's not a distressing thing to do.  I've done it my whole career.  I can't wait to see what's next."

Brown is set to air on B&B November 5.

I know the show is not always at it's best. I know it can be campy and downright
awful. But....the s/l it won for was brilliant, Storm's Suicide. It was great
drama, great emotion, and the aftermath was just heartbreaking. Congrats to B&B
for a long overdue win. Maybe Brad and team will start giving their talented
cast better things to act. Here's hoping.

On Monday, ABC, CBS and NBC confirmed that they have altered their daytime lineups in order to pay tribute to the legendary entertainer.

CBS' "The Young and the Restless" will not be airing in its regularly scheduled timeslot. The soap, along with "The Bold and the Beautiful" will instead air earlier than usual. ABC's "All My Children" and "One Life to Live" are pre-empted along with CBS' "As The World Turns" and NBC's "Days of our Lives." CBS' "Guiding Light" will also move up just a bit and will be joined in progress after the 90-minute special goes off the air and news coverage concludes on CBS. At this time it remains unclear as to whether ABC's "General Hospital" will air or be pre-empted.

The soaps experiencing pre-emptions on Tuesday will air their previously scheduled Tuesday episode on Wednesday, July 8, which means the shows will be behind by a day for several weeks as the soaps on average film a month in advance of airdate.

ABC News' Charles Gibson will anchor "Remembering Michael Jackson" from New York and will be joined by "Nightline" anchor Martin Bashir. "Good Morning America's" Robin Roberts, "Nightline" anchor Cynthia McFadden and Senior Law and Justice Correspondent Jim Avila will report from the Staples Center. Brian Rooney, Lisa Fletcher, Mike von Fremd and Ryan Owens will also contribute to the special coverage.

CNN, MSNBC, FOX News Channel and HLN will have wall-to-wall coverage of the memorial service.

On Wednesday, July 8th we will be performing scheduled maintenance on the Yahoo!

The schedule I posted earlier about the time zones and when soaps would air in
that time zone seems to be correct.  I will be calling my local station in the
morning hopefully with a little more news.
