Well People,

Thank you all for been REAL patient with me while I got my act together. My
computer has FINALLY been fixed now so there’s no need that I remain in Lurker
while I got my act together. In fact it wasn’t just a hardware problem but an
internal-programming problem as well as a faulty CD burner which has botched
VITAL Data Backups. All up there were about 6 or 7 different problems that
prevented me from doing my normal thing.



The guy that fixed my computer said that he wasn’t surprised that we’ve had this
much f**kassing round with trying to get it fixed, a techie just holding a
screwdriver in his hand could NOT have fixed what was wrong, what was REQUIRED
was someone going into the O’s and 1’s in the background and arguing with it.



12 hours later it was fixed. A lot of computer shops wouldn’t have bother
working on it so long. a good techie is hard to find so take my advice, start
becoming paranoid with backing up and taking care of your system because when it
comes down to it, technicians won’t take the time to see what’s wrong… they only
want to be paid.



My computer is NOW finally, TRULY fixed but I’m going to have to ask you all to
be patient with me a little longer because I still need to get files back
through a recovery process in MS-DOS – not a pretty picture as well as going
back through OLD back-ups that actually DAMNED-WELL work to get files. But that
doesn’t concern you guys, because I’ll be making my presence known once more
when I start posting Fics after they have been recovered and beta-read.
