t's a shame MS isn't selling this wonderful toy
as much as they expected to do. Toys R' US now has
D.W. at 29.99. I don't know if this sale applies to
Arthur, but D.W. hasn't been going off the shelves like
her bigger brother. Aw well, at this price they
should move a bit. The funny thing is this, I've went to
many stores and one was sold out of "15 inch D.W's
while they had a lot of Arthur. I guess the popularity
depends on where you go. Now where are the Binky and Sue
Ellen dolls?

..I bet that they would present the award. While
it is not a MAJOR award, it's one of the important
ones, so I bet they will present the award (To the
producers of "Arthur", of course!) on T.V.<br><br>I was a
little dissapointed with the chat, no one was present at
the start of 9:00pm. Oh well, I've only been
co-founder of this club for about a month. I bet we can try
in the next 2 weeks, this time, we will try a 8:00pm
start on Wednesdays. I will post the time up in the
calendar soon. If some people have a problem w/ this time,
let me know so I can work out a deal. I really would
love to ask questions about the Arthur series mainly
and some info about the merchandise from my members.

ery impressive! i think Arthur deserves it more
than any of those shows.. especailly 101 Dalmations!?!
I didn't know Arthur won last year.. I have a
question though- Do they show the animated series
catergory on tv? you know like how with the grammy's they
have those "people who won earleir in the night" deals
that aren't showed on tv. last year did they actaully
have the arthur people come on stage and all? just
wondering. also about the sunday chat- i was 10 minutes late
because someone was using the computer- but no one showed
up.. so? <br><br>sharon

nce again, our beloved show is nominated for a
daytime Emmy for oustanding animated series! Don't forget
last year, Arthur took the award. Can it go for two in
a row? Find out when the Daytime Emmys air on T.V.

rthur and D.W. are the same size. (Weird, Arthur
should be bigger. If you "stand" the doll on its feet (I
can't be done alone), the doll should measure around
"21 inches. A little larger than the "15 in. ones out
by Eden.<br><br>I was at a store once, and they had
really HUGE Arthur and D.W., and they were in
proportion. The D.W. one alone had to be a 3rd of the size of
me! I'm close to 6 feet, so that's huge! Too bad the
price is huge also. They cost from $120-140 dollars. I
think their is a place online to buy one, I gotta look
it up. But if you're game, go ahead.

just got Actimates D.W. the other day (Arthur
was sold out). If you're looking for Arthur, you
might have a harder time doing so. The many places I
went to had more D.W.'s than Arthur. You might want to
try online if looking for Arthur. I recommend cnet's
shopping section. Go to www.cnet.com, and click on
shopping, and search for Arthur and Actimates.<br><br>This
thing is entertaining, the people at Microsoft went to
great lengths to make this a great, durable toy. Both
of the two Actimates are similar to each other w/
the games and phrases, but D.W. is somewhat geared
towards girls (But that is your choice, what's wrong with
a little sister than a dumb older brother? : ) When
you squeeze her ears, she will say one of 100
different phrases, like What's she's gonna be when she's
grown up or commenting on her looks ("Does my hair look
stringy?", "I'm getting sick of this pink jumper") One of
the most funniest things she'll say is when she grows
up "I'll have my own T.V. show. Like who needs
Arthur anyway!"<br><br>Some of the games seem simple,
like the alphabet game, but the memory game can be
tough as you get to remember more. I got up to 12 last
night. She also plays guess the hoilday. She brings up
some really lesser known hoildays like the Chinese New
Year and Cinco De Mayo.<br><br>Of course after a
while, if you don't play with it, it will fall
"asleep"-literally, as in turn off.<br><br>The coolest thing about
this that it tells time and can remember your
birthday! It will even count down to it. But my hasn't
started, but it reminds me. Mine is not untill Jan
7th.<br><br>If you're a Arthur/D.W. fan, you won't regret
getting this. If you're a fan strictly of the T.V. show,
you might wanna invest in the TV Pack. It sends
signals to the doll for Arthur broadcasts. It will
respond in a different way to every episode. A cool
companion for watching the aardvarks in action. This is a
must for HARDCORE Arthur fans. Sorry, they don't have
one in Buster or Francine.

..unless you are a real Arthur fan. I just got
my club stuff the other day. The club card is not
credit card size and the Newsletter is only twice a
year. It has a list of activites, and listings of
appearances of Arthur and D.W. Doesn't really focus on the
show a lot.

was wondering if any of you guys had joined
this club and had more info on it? Info I have read
said that you get newsletters and a club card. I was
wondering if anyone knew if it was fun and worth it? And if
it focused more on the books or the T.V. show?

ctually, I miss Arthur a lot. Especially D.W.,
who, even spunky, is very sweet. (though there are
still recordings I've made earlier, and I buy the books
whenever I see some on sale), I still miss Arthur.

i, <br>that's neat with the D.W. actimatics doll
(spelling?)... when you get it you'll have to tell us all about
what it does exactly. i was thinking maybe we should
arrange a chat day... a certain hour when we'd all be on,
i mean it's available we should use it! i'm
thinking this Sunday (the 7th) at 9:00 p.m. (Eastern) We
can have a little one. i'll be on if anyone is
interested. we'll have a nice little chat about our beloved
Arthur and freinds! "so come' on inside we've got
everything you need"<br>-library card song<br><br> bye

ny day know, I'm getting one of those Microsoft
Actimates dolls. (Getting D.W., Arhtur is sold out) I'm
sure you might have heard of them before, but if you
haven't, let me tell you a few things about them.
<br><br>The are totally interactive, you can play games with
them, they can even remember your birthday, tell the
time and can wake you up. With an optionial TV pack,
your doll can interact with the Arthur T.V. show. How
neat! There is also a PC pack, in which they can
interact w/ the Arthur website and software. Very cool
items I must say. I buy and collect a lot of stuff, but
this is going out of the box when it comes in the
mail. I'm getting mine for a STEAL! $24 bucks! And free
shipping! If you want a D.W., I suggest you to go to
buysoftware.com and reap in big savings! I would also like to
hear from other Actimate owners if there are any.

wow, an Arthur club... i'm excited! I just
started a new high school :( and now i get home early
enough to see Arthur everyday! i'm almost sixteen... god
it feels like i've been 15 forever. and it seems
like this club isn't infested with kids..ugh..dirty
brats! nooo. i love Arthur but you have to admit D.W. is
probally the best kid on the show. I've come to a
conclusion that the episodes with just Arthur and his
freinds at school are ok, but the funnest ones feature
D.W. or Arthur at home. Also i bought the "Arthur and
Freinds: Almost Real, Not Live CD (or tape)" and it's sooo
fun. i love it. does anyone else have it? i recommend
it to every arthur fan...<br>this is getting too
long. so i'll stop ranting~<br><br>love,

into this show on PBS called Arthur while channel
surfing. After a few episodes, I now watch the show on a
regular basis. Although I'm surely a little old (18!) to
watch this kind of cartoon, but I sure do love the
personality of most of the characters, esp D.W. Now I feel
like buying on of those Actimates. Amazing those
things, they say a lot and can do a whole lot. (I'm a
