Could someone please tell me did Archie not have a brother known as Timothy
(Gerald) Wood? And was that not the dummy that Uncle Bob later used for Archie
#2?

What is everyone's favorite song from Archie and His Friends and which character
sang it? Mine is "Winchester Cathedral" by Marvin Mouse.

I believe I was about 5, I didn't get a phone
call, but my name and birthday was announced on t.v. I
use to have a peteit hand puppet, but unfortunately
lost her many years ago. My sisters and I still have 2
albums, their Christmas album which my parents got
autographed and one other album but I'm not sure of the name
of it......anyone remember the song I wish I were a
tadpole.....both of those albums are still in Winnipeg at my
parents house.

Hello cutter_47. I just thought I'd tell you how
happy you made me by posting those pictures. I hope to
return the favor by adding to this wonderful club some
pictures I took of Uncle Bob and his "gang" (he always
hated that word) when I was a kid. He used to make
appearances in local stores such as Sears (known then as
Simpson Sears) and Clarks and Eatons and many other
stores. I used to fallow his schedule and take pictures
of Uncle Bob and "gang" with my Polaroid Swinger
(remember those?). They are only black and white and I will
have to wait till I have access to a scanner but I
hope every one will like them.
Once again
cutter_47 thanx a bunch!

Hey there symonsagebrush I noticed you said you
were interested in "nude pics of Tammy True if they
exist LOL" Cute, very cute. But guess what?? I saw
Marvin Mouse in the nude. I am not joking. One time
Uncle Bob put his hand through Marvin's house (remember
that old clock) and there was no Marvin Mouse puppet,
just a bare hand with Marvin Mouse's voice coming from
it. Marvin's voice stopped, as did the bare hand,
said "Excuse me!". The hand then went away, and when
it came back the Marvin Mouse puppet was in place.
Marvin claimed he had just taken a bath and forgot his
clothes.
It's humor like this that made Archie and His
Friends a very appealing show for the adults as well as
the kids. I miss that show so much. Robert Schwartz
is to be credited for a job very well done.
(By
the way, I like your humor!)

The puppets and dummies were placed in a Ventriloquism Museum in BC after Bob's
death at the request of his family.

I was at a polo park show many many years ago,
and some bigger kids pushed me down to get a better
look. Uncle Bob stopped the show, helped me up and put
me right in front. for a 5 year old that was really
impressive.

Does anyone else remember the breakfast with Santa
Claus shows he used to do at the Bay?
