Hasn't been a lot of info on this site for a while so
I thought I would tell a few stories.

First off does anyone know what Granpa Wood's first
name is?? (cutter47 not allowed to answer)
Well one day when cutter47 and I were trying to think
up new ideas to drive Uncle Bob crazy, (a regular pass
time) cutter and I decided to kill off Granpa Wood. Oh
nothing to serious, just an obit in the Free Press.
Died of natural causes, it was just his time.

We planned on a full picture and a lengthy obit. We
needed to his first name. So we asked Uncle Bob if
Grandpa had a first name.
Bob said he didn't have one. Humm... he needed one, well
actually we needed one. So we named him Zeke after one
of the maintenance guys. (Zeke wasn't his real name
either but than didn't matter to us) So we got a photo
together and a full write up with a grieving family
and friends. Spent a lot of time on it. We had hoped
to have it in the Free Press weekend but somehow the
Free Press didn't share our humour and told us that
they would not run it. Apparently they didn't see the
same humour in it as we did. They also said that the
person had to be alive first. Humm, bummer.

What else. One day when I was running camera and we
were recording 5 shows in an evening. They would do
this sometimes if they needed the crew for other
events. Bob would always ask Archie what he was doing
today and Archie would say that he was outside running
and playing soccer. I had noticed that Archie's shoes
not only were perfectly clean but the tread on the
bottoms were not worn. I took a shot of the shoes and
we made a quick joke about them not being used. We
left it at that. At the end of the show and before the
start of the next show Bob would change his clothes to
make it look like a new day. Cutter and I took the
shoes and went to the engineering shop and sanded down
the bottoms and then took them outside and ran them
through the mud. So during the next show Bob asked
Archie what he was up to and Archie told him that he
was outside playing. I took a shot of the shoes and
Bob burst out laughing. Bob had the good sense to make
a joke out of it and had Archie talking about how he
was playing in the mud.
What else... Hummm.. Robbie Robot. The idea was to
move the handle at the same time as Uncle Bob was
talking. The crews plan was to try to keep the mouth
open until Bob tried to stick his hand inside and then
we would try to catch his hand with the teeth.

Now you need to convince cutter47 to tell about the
use of the toilet flush and how much trouble he got
into for that!
