I did not say that, Spike,” Angel huffed as he rolled out of bed. “Buffy was just a phase. I’ve always loved you... you’re my childe, dammit.”
Spike looked glumly at Angel’s back as he gazed out the necromanced window. His insecurities had spoiled another tender moment.
“Sorry,” he said softly. “Please come back to bed.”
Angel sighed in resignation before he crawled next to Spike and took him into his arms, kissing him
passionately.
Spike moaned and opened his legs, welcoming Angel into his body once more.
Having Angel inside him was the only way he felt truly loved.
