The one where Andy and Helen get married is
actually the 1st episode of "Mayberry RFD" the spinoff of
T.A.G.S. <br>Did you ever see the pilot epidode of "The
Andy Griffith Show"? It was from the Danny Thomas show
"Make Room For Daddy". <br>It featured Andy, Opie, Aunt
Bee...(but she wasn't playing Aunt Bee she was playing
another town character). Also the town drunk was played
by Frank Cady (who played Sam Drucker on Green
Acres). <br>It isn't show on TV very often, but it's fun
to see it.<br><br>Jim

Hey ya'll! I've never seen this episode. When did it air? I sure would like to
see it, though. Maybe TV Land will show it sometimes. I sure did enjoy the
marathon!

Thought some of you might find this kind of
interesting.<br>When I was a kid, (I'm 45 now), we lived in San
Fernando California. There was one house between our home
and the Howard's Home (Ronnie and Clint's), This was
at the time Ronnie was on TAGS early 60's. Anyway,
Ronnie was usually working but Clint would come over to
my house to play with my brother and I and other
kids in the neighborhood, quite often. He was younger
than most of us and sometimes I must admit now, we
were kind of mean to him. Sometimes we'd tell him to
go home, we didn't want to play, and he was always
telling us he was a foster child. I think to make us feel
bad. We didn't know what a foster child was but it
sounded bad. LOL <br>We weren't mean all the time though.
We actually spent quite a lot of time playing
together.<br>In 1992 I saw Clint at a Mayberry Days Celebration
in Charlotte N.C. and told him about those early
days in California. He laughed about it and said "Oh
yeah, I remember that!" Which he probably didn't
really, but it made me feel good. Today, he is such a
nice person when you meet him. As all of the cast
members of TAGS are. They are always willing to sit and
talk with you about the show, or will let you take
pictures with them, and each and every one of them are
truly wonderful down to earth people. Just like you
would expect of someone from a small town called
Mayberry.<br><br>Jim

Well, since I don't get TVLand (gasp!) I'm stuck
with watching TAGS only during the week. I envy
ya'll!!! Seein' as how everyone will be watching the
marathon, thought I'd put in a little recipe I found in a
cookbook I got about 3 years ago called "Aunt Bee's
Mayberry Cookbook". Don't know if any of you have seen it,
but it's a hoot! OK, here goes:<br><br>Rodney
Darling's Blackened Pig<br><br>1 medium to large pig<br>1
medium size house<br>Sauce (optional)<br><br>Run the pig
into the house. Shut all of the doors. Set the house
afire. Return in 3 days with oven mitts. Search and
serve.<br>Serve with sauce, optional<br>Serves the entire Darling
family<br><br>lmao! It has real recipes too, I've tried several and
boy, howdy, are they yummy!<br><br>Cindy<br>(formerly

Hey folks,<br><br>I don't know how many of you
are members of my WBMUTBB mailing list but I know
several are. There's been a problem with that mailing
list since Wednesday night so all the email that's
been sent since then is just gone....it looks
like.<br><br>They still haven't been able to fix the problem so
we'll be a while longer without our usual daily email.

YES................this coming weekend IS TAGS
WEEKEND!!! a whole 48 hours worth! check out
<a href=http://www.tvland.com/fandemonium/schedule.jhtml
target=new>http://www.tvland.com/fandemonium/schedule.jhtml</a> They will also
give you a list of each episode in
order. You can copy & paste it to shrink it some to
print it. (I did with Gunsmoke & all were right in
order....I taped them ALL) heehee<br>It starts on 3/10/01 at
6:00AM and going thru the entire weekend.<br><br>I don't
know if my VCR can take another 48hrs straight of
taping........it got very HOT with last weekend.<br>I bought 6--
8HR tapes. (I tried to cut a few commercials out, but
that's a hard thing to do, but only a few on each tape
helps to ensure that you don't miss ANY of the end of
the last episode on your tape.....incase the tape
were to be short for some reason...and I have had that
happen!)

That's ok....I guess the ones that moved were the
ones that logged into the club regularly anyway. We'll
just have to slowly build up our membership again! And
this way the active members are the ones that are
here. (but where's basslappinmama??)<br><br>Stacey

Well last weekend when they were doing the
Gunsmoke marathon (I think TV Land calls it Fandemonium)
they mentioned the next weekend would be TAGS. I
haven't heard it advertised again but I'm assuming that's
still on!

Hey folks,<br><br>I guess most folks just don't
read their email because there are a lot of folks that
didn't move over here with us. Maybe they'll find their
way in the days to come. <br><br>Again, I'm sorry

the right thing for a Mayberry club. I messed up and

LOL Otis and Barney are an absolute hoot
together!! You forget they're acting and really believe they
are real people!!<br><br>I saw the one the other day
where the postmaster was watching Barney pin pictures
of the criminals on the bulletin board. After
arguing about whose criminals were better than the
other's, they start in on name calling....Barney: "Ah, ya
clerk!"<br><br>How come that is so funny? I die laughing every time
I hear that! I even run the VCR back to hear it
again!!<br><br>Stacey

the "FBI" came to Mayberry to award Andy and Barney
on having the lowest crime rate in the nation.
*Very* funny! I loved it when Barney was giving a tour
of the jail to the tourists and acting all
important, and then in walks Otis! lol!<br><br>Barney: "Get
in there you dangerous killer!"<br><br>Otis: "Yep, I
just killed a whole pint!" lol!<br><br>*Great*

We're moving because of me...I made a mistake and
made our original club "Private" which means nobody
would be able to visit our "friendly town" without
knowing exactly what the URL is. I don't feel like that's
too Mayberry-like so I'm encouraging folks to move to
this club which is "Listed" (meaning folks can find
it).
