(Okay, you need a savior? You have one.... I am Saryss Reckana and I
am here to give this group what it needs. I may not be Chris Carter,
but I am pretty darn close. Now just sit back and watch me work my

[This is a case file containing your first mission in the realm of
the X-files. Read it to know what your ultimate goal should be and I
shall compose another story-line post to get you started....]

This case file was brought to the attention of the Bureau through an
anonymous video cassette sent to the J. Edgar Hoover Building. The
envelope that contained it held no extraneous markings save for the
directive address and the required postage. The tape itself was
unmarked and upon viewing was seen to contain distorted footage
depicting what appeared to be a maelstorm of household objects
violently gyrating in a small enclosed room. The camera that recorded
this occurance appears to have been thrown around the room several
times during the course of the storm. This produced the eventual
degredation of the film, as the mechanical implements in the
recording device were slowly destroyed by the force of the whirlwind.
No life forms appear on the film footage except for a possible shadow
shown through a blue haze in the shape of a man in the middle of the
storm. Though it appears to move as if by its own means and in a
human-like manner, the probable explanation is that it is a trick of
the light or mirrors. No fingerprints were found on the package that
originally held it save for those of the postal carriers. The tape
dates this as occuring on the 13 of June 2000, but this cannot be
made certain without futher study. When tracing its route through the
mail system, it was found to have originated in a small suburb of
Seattle, Washington called Bothel, though the exact location within
the area is not known.

The Bureau heads believe that this may be some kind of juvenile
prank, but it is in our best interests to discover who has created
this 'masterpiece' and sent it into the depths of our government
agency. It is a possibility that this is a warning of some kind
directed at the Bureau, but further exploration into this is required
as the cause must be found as soon as possible in able for us to save
face. We have arranged for a team of four to six agents to travel to
New York to investigate into this matter so that the problem can be
taken care of. The plane tickets are pre-arranged and the agent
already assigned knows further instructions to which he will
administer upon arrival. According to skill level and area of
specialization, the Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully are to
be placed on this case as well as Special Agent Saryss Reckana, who
holds information about this kind of case and thus is the head of the
investigation. At least one more agent is required to participate as
Saryss will need a partner to back him up. Come to the head's office
to acknowlege your desire to participate in this case as soon as
possible. The agents leave for Bothel on the 17th of June 2000 and
plane tickets must be arranged for any who wish to join the case.
