Don't know if a professional costume house would have them but that's a good
place to start. I know the Jesuits in Wimbledon had costumes for a fundraiser.
Or you could try Mike Batt directly since his mum made the Womble costumes for
the band and Wombles Ltd. Try http://www.mikebatt.com.

Subject: [Wombles] Wombles Costumes
I am looking for Wombles Costumes to borrow or hire or even patterns
to make them from.
I am part of a group of people involved in raising money for a
playground for severely disabled children. (Thames Valley Adventure
Playground).
We hold big fancy dress events in Henley-on-Thames town hall which is
decorated to a theme. The committee provide a lot of stage-based
entertainment and there is always a strong music element. It is all
very silly and enormous fun. Last year various celebrities like Leo
Sayer, Anthony Worrall-Thomsen and sporting heros were involved and
we raised about £15,000. This year one of the 'acts' we would like
to do is The Wombles. (partly because "Remember You're a Womble went
down so well at my 40th recently!)
If you could direct me to anywhere I could get the costumes from, you
have no idea how grateful I would be (particularly because otherwise
I can see myself having to make them!)
Thank you for your help
Sarah
