For starters point your browser towards the following URLs:
http://womble.designwest.com/index.html
This is Johanna Cormier's Wombles pages. The best overall reference site and
one of the oldest on the subject. Plus there are links to other Womble
sites.
http://www.wombles.tv/
The Wombles official site, reflecting the new TV series and the old as well.
http://www.scuzz.com/wombles/index.html
Tara Stockford's Wombles page. Certainly up there as one to look at.
As for Wombles merchandise, check out eBay. Enter (Wombles,Womble) as a
search
and see what turns up! You might find a Bungo backpack for a few UK pounds.
Don't forget that the UK video format (PAL) differs from the North American
one (NTSC) when bidding on videos. If you're looking for Wombles music, try
and get the Wombles Collection as it contains 2 CDs worth of music plus
bonus videos on the CDs.
