The Music Of The Spheres
...Well, okay, more like music of the battlestars and cylons. Composer Bear McCreary was at the Roxy recently, playing the music from Battlestar Galactica, ably abetted by James Callis and a really rockin' band. Brian Rubin reports on the aural sublimity of it all.

James Was Grand, No Slam
James Marsters delighted fans by doing Q&A's both Saturday and Sunday at Creation's Grand Slam XVI. For the inside skinny on what he said, read Patti Hutchen's write-up and see the pics in our Gallery.

We Want YOU!... to write for Whedonopolis
The realization has struck that the world of Whedon is large and our staff is small and we are in need of additional people with a love of things Jossian to cover what and where we can't. Specifically, we're looking for writers across the country and the globe to cover conventions, concerts, signings and all other sorts of fandom-related activities. A Common Rotation concert in New Jersey? Torchwood filming in Cardiff? We can't always be there, but maybe you can! Interested in doing reviews of movies, books, comics, DVD's, CD's or games involving the Whedonverse? We're looking for that too.
What's in it for you? Well, a bit of fame, but no fortune. We're an all-volunteer army in these parts. But we can offer free press passes to various events and conventions, as well as review copies of CD's and DVD's as we get them. We also offer the opportunity to take an active role in the promotion of people involved in the Whedonverse, as well as meeting and interviewing people directly involved with making our favorite shows happen.
So, how do you get involved? Simple: Just submit a sample article of around 500 words on a Whedonverse-related topic. It could be anything; a review of a new movie or DVD with a Whedonverse actor or actress in it, a blog entry about how excited you are about Dollhouse; whatever comes to mind. Please email it along with your name, address and a small blurb about why you would like to write for us to: submissions@....
We look forward to receiving your submissions, and thank you for your interest in joining our energetic and awesome staff. If you have any questions about our site, our staff or anything else, please direct these to info@.... Good luck!
...But Wait! There's More!
Besides all that, remember to peruse our lovely new Features Menu for the latest breaking news, news bytes, articles, announcements and cool links served fresh daily. Enjoy, enjoy!
If you've got any questions, suggestions or comments DO NOT reply to this email. This list is outgoing message only. Instead, please write to info@... and we'll reply to you as soon as we can.
See you 'round the 'verse!
