From MaidenGreen:
Hello, site members and fellow BTVS/ATS lovers!
Well, the '06-'07 television season is the third without any Whedon on
our screens, and I'm having serious withdrawal. You? BTVS and ATS DVDs
are my life-blood, but something new would be even better. ;)
So, how are we going to convince Twentieth Century Fox to get off
their collective butts and give us some Whedon? We're going to send
Twentieth Century Fox Presidents Gary Newman and Dana Walden some
reasons why they should. The "reasons" will come in the form a book
filled with letters from YOU, the people who watch TV and buy DVDs,
the fans who make or break shows!
To that end, we would like you guys to write a letter to FOX, stating
why you loved BTVS and ATS, and why you would like to see more of
these wonderful characters, either in a new television series, or
straight-to-DVD movies. Fox needs to deal with Joss and work towards
an agreement that would give the fans what they want; more
Whedon-verse character stories!
So how about it? Start writing your letters and post them here. We'll
print them, bind them together, and send them to the higher-ups at Fox!
Let's get cracking!

From gman:
Next week ushers in beginning of the CW Network. Let the new network
hear from the most loyal viewers the WB and UPN ever had and that the
CW can have. Joss and Buffy helped put the WB on the map. Joss and
characters like Spike, Illyria, Willow, Faith, and Giles and their
many fans can help make the CW more successful than the WB and UPN
ever were.
Write to:
Dawn Ostroff
President of Entertainment
The CW
11800 Wilshire Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA 90025
Be positive. We recommend that you write a letter. If not, send a
postcard. If you don't do either send an e-mail to
Dawn_Ostroff@... (which still works). If you still need to see
more of Joss Whedon on tv (and you wouldn't be here if you didn't)
then don't wait for the next person to write. Do your part and
convince others to do their's.
