As a dedicated fan of Joss Whedon and all his devious works, it really pains me when I see that one of the stars of his shows feels it necessary to delete their website and avoid the fans (see article on Robia Lamorte in Wesley's Archives). She cites infighting and backbiting in the Buffyverse as her reason. This is more than sad; it is pitiful. We should be united and steady in our efforts to support the stars and brings back beloved charcters to the small or large screen.

Here at Save Angel, we try to focus on the positive. We have have ignored the small-minded and vicious and brushed off the negative. We want to move forward with dedication and purpose to assist the stars by drawing attention to their new work and past triumphs. We want to remind them how we fell in love with them and the people they used to portray. We desire them to revisit these roles in the future. We are not going to get it if we belittle, fight, argue or gossip.

This is a bit of Endorill-type wisdom. When we are angry with someone else, we see the situation as all black and white. However, when we ourselves hurt someone else, it we see all shades of gray. We have our reasons and rationales for the way we act and we cut ourselves a break. I suggest that we cut everyone else the same break we are willing to cut ourselves. It might just calm the waters and keep another star from deleting us from their list.

We are in this together. It might be helpful to remember that.

Firefly WILL be shown in reruns in Australia! Although negotiations with Channel 7 didn't work out....(they had no room in their schedule), Fox 8 will begin showing it at 10:30 PM on Wednesdays in September. Right now the rumor mill is saying that it's first broadcast will be on the 21st.

News of Actors in Other Roles

Daniel Dae Kim is out in a new suspense/chiller called The Cave. Remember to save your ticket stubs.

Sarah Michelle Gellar will be appearing in a new movie called Southland Tales.

As many of you know, Alyson Hannigan will have a role in How I Met Your Mother.
Kitchen Confidential will be giving us our fix of Nick Brendon. Seth Green will be starring in the coming of age series, Four Kings. Lastly, but not leastly, David Boreanaz will be an intuitive detective on Bones.

This only proves Joss Whedon's ability to seek out players that capture the public imagination.

Serenity premieres next month in theaters. Look for reviews by our own Angeldiva and Nighthawk in the threads.
