To Do:
A Word From Gman
Spring is here and it’s time spring into action to begin a new and exciting phase of our campaign. We’ve been firing off postcards since the beginning of the year, but if anything, we need to step it up even more. Despite being busy with Serenity and having signed on to direct Wonder Woman, Joss has stated that he would allow a Spike tv movie to be produced that he would not write or direct. This is a new development and the fact that he is willing to turn the keys over to someone that he trusts gives us plenty of reason to be optimistic and to continue to work hard.
The purpose of sending postcards to our next targets is to enlist the aid of some big guns for our Raising the Stakes spin-off campaign and our Raising the Bar feature film campaign. Print and Internet journalists that cover television have access to network executives, producers, writers, and actors that fans just can’t match. They also have large and regular audiences. The people that we are going to write to have supported ANGEL and BUFFY in the past and have written very positively about fan campaigns in support of ANGEL. Let’s not leave any doubt in their minds about the fact that there are many Whedon fans and that we are not going to fade away. If we do that, they can pass the message on to the important players involved.
We are also going to send the television journalists that we target our press kits, which will include our campaign literature, an Angel action figure, a chocolate angel, and postcard artwork. The combination of a high volume of postcards and a well put-together press kit should make a positive and powerful impact on people who could really help us.

As with our past targets, you could send tourist postcards from your area or letters if you do not wish to print postcards from here. If you have friends or family that do not go on the Internet or visit this site, be proactive and either print or buy them postcards and stamps. If your whole family would watch a spin-off, each member should send a separate postcard. Do the same if your significant other is interested in it.
If you want people in the media to make some noise on our behalf, we’re going to have to make plenty of noise first. We'll have to turn the heat up if we want to see our favorite actors and actresses return to their greatest roles.

We are so lucky here in the States. I wonder if we realize how hard it must be for the devoted fans who live out of the country. Hi, you guys! If you love Angel we are here for you, too.
LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) Former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" co-star Alyson Hannigan has signed on for her third network comedy pilot on her third network in little over a year. The actress will take a role in the CBS ensemble "How I Met Your Mother."
Set up at 20th Century Fox TV, "Mother" focuses on a middle-aged married man looking back at his single days and how he met his wife. It’s unclear from the Hollywood Reporter what part Hannigan will play in the series, which also stars Neil Patrick Harris ("Doogie Howser, M.D.") and Jason Segel ("Freaks and Geeks").
Earlier this year, Hannigan was set for a supporting role in ABC’s midseason comedy "In the Game." She departed the pilot in January over creative differences and, soon after, the Jennifer Love Hewitt offering was scrapped entirely. Last spring, Hannigan starred in an untitled comedy pilot for NBC. Click Here Hannigan was most recently seen guest starring on UPN’s "Veronica Mars." In addition to her time as Willow Rosenberg on "Buffy," Hannigan is most familiar from the three "American Pie" films.
Also look for Adolph Benrubi (Olaf, BTVS) in the new movie, Miss Congeniality 2.
