With the release of the ANGEL Season 5 DVD set selling so well, now would be a good time to remind 20th Century Fox Television that they no longer have any more DVD sets to sell us. That would change if they produced "Faith: The Vampire Slayer." Send your receipts with letters, or postcards with a proof of purchase to:

In the 20th Century Fox Television thread there is a great postcard that asks, "Got More Whedon?" If you don't use that one, you could simply write it on the back of the one you will be using.

We all know the United Paramount Network (UPN) as the home of Buffy during its last two seasons. Let's let UPN know that Angel and Buffy fans are willing to come back and help it achieve higher ratings if it is willing to broadcast a spin-off series about Faith (with Spike and Fred/Illyria!)

Again, if you know people who would watch an ANGEL spin-off, but do not visit this site or are not inclined to print and send postcards or letters, help them out by doing the printing yourself and even buying them stamps (especially for postcards.)

"I watched Veronica Mars for the first time today because Alyson Hannigan was in it (it will be a recurring role). I enjoyed it. This show is definately influenced by Buffy.

I just sent some e-mail feedback to UPN letting them know that Veronica Mars is a good show and that I watched for the first time because of Allyson Hannigan. I also asked them to consider broadcasting Faith: The Vampire Slayer starring Eliza Dushku, James Marsters, and Amy Acker. I wrote that the 5.4 million Angel fans that watched the series finale on May 19, 2004 would love to make UPN their home."

* Angel Season 5 DVD Box set has been a Top Ten best seller at Amazon.com every day for the last month (and it's still there!)

* Three new books releated to Joss Whedon's "Serenity" movie will be hitting the shelves later this year:

- Serenity: The Book by Joss Whedon (now available on Amazon.com for pre-order): "Titan's offical companion contains a preface from Joss, his in depth account of making the film, and his full screenplay, illustrated throughout with stills, storyboards and production art." The book will be available September 30.

- Likewise available for pre-order is the movie's novelization by Keith R.A. DeCandido, scheduled for release on September 1 in paperback from Pocket Star publishing.

- And sooner still, from BenBella Books comes "Finding Serenity: Anti-Heroes, Lost Shepherds and Space Hookers in Joss Whedon's Firefly, due to hit the stores at the first of April. It's edited by Glenn Yeffeth who also did Seven Seasons of Buffy and Five Seasons of Angel In other words, it's a must have!

* Cool Money to be broadcast on March 19, 2005, 9PM to 11PM on the USA Network. Formerly "The Pierre Heist," the movie stars James Marsters as a jewel thief and will now be aired on Saturday night.

* E! Online has a new poll out: What TV show would you most like to save? Choices are spread between Enterprise, Point Pleasant, Veronica Mars, West Wing and others.

- Whedonverse.org has come up with an idea to take advantage of the "Save One Show" poll (and remind folks about Angel!) E-mail Kristin with a vote for ANGEL (or spin-off featuring Whedon character of your choice). This is a clever ploy to get a mention from her. My e-mail will include referrences to bribes of chocolate! If you are inclined to do a little e-mailing, try Kristin at: tvdiva@...

* Eliza Dushku, focus of the Faith Spin-off campaign, showed up at The 13th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party. Held at the Pacific Design Center, she drew big applause from fans along the carpetside. We, at SaveANGEL, know of Eliza's commitment to charities and we carry information about her efforts with Camp Hale on our homepage.

* Alyson Hannigan's appearance on Veronica Mars had one cast member telling cameras (according to the TV Guide Channel): "Make no mistake about it. Alyson was brought on to save Veronica Mars."
