Well, it looks like Grace and Tom's relationship is going to be
exposed really soon - it was humorous how the audience was led to
think that Peter had known about the relationship when he called Grace
over to his place. Plus, it was clever how Tom served the boys
alcohol-free beer and the boys still acted like they were tipsy - boys
are so silly sometimes.

The flash-fowards in this episode were interesting too. The Vice
President did indeed have an affair with Bobby and Courtney found out
about it, and was almost going to leave him if it wasn't for Grace. It
really sucks that Grace will die though, that means that Bobby will be
without either his mom or his brother for the rest of his drama-filled
presidency :(

Well, the big thing to me was that Tom (Grace's assistant) admitted
that he likes her, and Grace was, well, flabbergasted. Also, Bobby
feels indebted to Courtney's dad after the last episode and he spent
a big part of this episode helping around (raking leaves and all
that) and playing chess (hence the title of the episode). Bobby
learns a valuable lesson about honestly winning games, and the
audience learns that, in the future, Cold War 2 was being waged
against China and that President McCalister helped diffuse it by
winning a chess game with the Chinese president. I might have missed
some things, but I think that's a good summary of it all :)

I don't know if it's just me or whatever, but does it seem that
there's less and less future-flashes in the episodes? They're pretty
cool in my opinion, and add more to the show. Maybe they can add one
or two more segments to the show without compromising the events in
the prsent?

Hey, I think the show is awesome too, and kudos for being able to
watch the show in a country where it doesn't air :) Anyways, it's not
yet revealed how Jack will die or how Courtney will end up being
married to Bobby - I think that they want us (the audience) to be
curious about it so that we continue to watch the show to satisfy our
curiosity. Until then, all we can do is guess.

One site that I found, http://stephensanders.tripod.
com/jack_bobby_chronology , brings up a theory that Jack will die in
the War of the Americas mentioned in the third episode, "The Kindness
of Strangers". At first, I imagined that he'll die of some sort of
drug abuse, but recently I'm not so sure. It's really all just
speculation :)

here!!, anyhow, none of my mates or anyone knows anything about the
show so I thought I'd join here to discuss my J&b ISSUES. So far i
HATE Grace, love Bobby, and am dead confused about how Jack dies and
how Courtney ends up as the first Lady, so if anyone can shed light

I wasn't aware that liking sci fi means that I can't like other
genres of television as well. Besides Jack & Bobby's future scenes
are speculative fiction, very similar to sci fi.

I am so in love with Bobby he is so cute, i was reading up in what
